Just in case you've been living under a rock, Battletoads has officially arrived! The game was released earlier today for Xbox One and PC, and is also included as part of Xbox Game Pass.
To celebrate, Xbox has unveiled this toadally awesome official launch trailer for the game featuring Xbox Live's Major Nelson interviewing the three toads about their new adventure. Check it out above!
If you want to try out the game for yourself but you're not an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can grab it from the Microsoft Store for £16.74/$19.99, and it also supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
Here's what we had to say about it in our review:
"Battletoads is without a doubt one of the funniest games of this generation, and it's a pretty nifty beat 'em up to boot. It does have the occasional lull when things start to feel a little repetitive, but by and large it's a hugely entertaining experience and well worth your time."

Good ol’ Cartoon Network.
I just finished act 1 so I could get the fighting frogs sea of thieves stuff. It is so good!! I was looking forward to Battletoads for sure. But I never expected to laugh this much and enjoy the gameplay as much as I do. The many ways you can use your tongue is really what takes the beat em up genre further for this game specifically.
I have to say I preferred the previous release date trailer. This one is fun, but if this is the trailer that automatically plays on the Xbox store I don't think it'll grab people's attention in the same way as the previous one. Gameplay resigned to a small background screen is not the greatest.
I think it's awesome!!!! Not as a proper trailer, though, but as a piece to grab people's interest. It's an excellent complement to a gameplay trailer
