@Tharsman none of those games are even noteworthy other than Master Chief Collection (which was a broken mess. Forza and Tomb Raider are the only stand outs.

That E3 was honestly one of the most baffling moments I've ever seen in gaming. How one company could get it so wrong and another so right. I’m surprised it didn’t kill Xbox.

What Phil has done to recover from Matterick is truly mind blowing and cannot be understated.

How is this odd? Seems pretty clear like FIFA and COD every year.

Esports played on one console. DLC updates available first or even exclusive pieces of DLC. And all the general marketing stuff will be Xbox focused.

@Tharsman pretty sure you’ve read between the lines wrong and most of the narrative surrounding E3 ceasing to exist was because of every other showcase during that week being terrible.

Xbox and Nintendo where stand outs and I haven’t seen a single article saying otherwise. Every article regarding E3 has been about how bad it was other than the two above.

By all means if you can link the articles and they are clear then fair play, but everyone I have seen has been positive about Xbox and Nintendo 🤷🏻‍♂️

Can only be a good thing, can’t see it getting my sequels from Insomniac but will be great for others to get a chance to play it. Great fun and arguably the best game on GP.

@Lajt Xbox exclusive basically means Xbox and PC now. They’re one and the same

I believe Xbox and GamePass have become one in that there really isn’t any point imo if you don’t get GamePass.

In the next 2-4 years this may not be as big a deal when Xbox actually start releasing some games. But as of right now, there is no sense in it imo.

They’ve spent 3 years saying ‘games are coming’

This is fairly common to have time slots in the beta process, bit weird to be happening for a demo.

Vegas 2 is one of the great online co-op games of all time

I’m personally really looking forward to a comeback for WWE2K.

The games are nothing on the Jakks PS2 entries but they were never truly terrible until 2K20 which was a mess with bugs and gliches.

They have something to prove now, and i’m hoping they have some big new gen features to bounce back with a bang.

The Zombie Army series really is excellent.

The first three games can be bought in a trilogy pack for dirt cheap and provide hours of entertainment. The spin off Strange Brigade is also excellent and can be bought for £5-10.

Truly an underrated series of incredibly fun games.

Phil has done an excellent job. The brand is unrecognisable to the short lived Mattrick era.

I have bought digital keys before for PlayStation but it is incredibly rare to find them.

Often you’ll only find them for Fortnite, GTA and FIFA but they’re more microtransactions than full game.

This has been a common thing for a good few years now where digital codes become available for Xbox and not PlayStation, across a number of sites.

Its actually become the norm 🤷🏻‍♂️

Note, Metacritic is not a valid and accurate representation of scores or overall rankings.

They hold different outlets in higher regard than others. For example, if there are 10 reviews for 10 outlets, one of which is say IGN. IGN’s review score will occupy 25% of the overall score rather than 10% and it filters down for there. IGN could have 25% and PureXbox/PushSquare 5% each.

Just don’t believe everything Metacritic pushes.

Surprisingly quiet in here considering the “controversial” guy’s game being the subject of the article.

Anyway, glad this is getting great reviews, look forward to jumping in to play.
