If you're still on the hunt for a shiny new console from Microsoft's current generation lineup, this flash sale price for Xbox Series S systems in the UK could be the perfect opportunity for you.
World-dominating retailer Amazon currently has stock of the Series S for just £227.50 – down from its usual RRP of £249.99. That's the lowest we've seen the console available for since launch, but you'll need to act pretty sharpish if you want to get your hands on one.
At the time of writing, only 14 – yes fourteen – consoles are available on the site at this price. More stock is available on another listing, but with a much more modest discount at £242.99.

Yeah, I've been seeing this little guy go well south of MSRP in online deals lately. Quite bizarre, considering how hard it still is to find certain consoles and GPUs at MSRP.
Curious to see if sales increase appreciably once Starfield drops.
lucky you guys. and here in latin america, at least in my country is still around $450. yes .... that is the price for a Series S here.
@Ralizah
It's quite as clever move from MS really.
It's a digital console, so any loss made on Series S console sales will be made up ten fold with people buying digital games and subscriptions to stuff like Game Pass.
Whereas with Series X, people could be buying 2nd hand games which gains MS nothing.
@blinx01 if you know where to look and have ms rewards, things can get considerably cheaper, digitally.
@blinx01 Oh yeah, there's a reason these companies make their digital-only consoles so much cheaper. They control the prices, for one thing, but also, the more invested you are in an ecosystem, the less likely you are to stray elsewhere.
Same reason it's smart for Microsoft to not be stingy with how it handles GP (unlike Sony with the new PS+ upgrade). Any money they lose from people making use of 'loopholes' to buy in for cheaps also means those same people are more likely to invest money into that ecosystem as time goes on, since they're invested in it.
Was down to £170 last week elsewhere. HotUKDeals was all over the deal and lots where jumping on it
