Microsoft has officially announced June 2021's Xbox Games with Gold, giving us a look at four more games we'll be able to play at no extra charge with our Gold memberships next month.
In case you missed it, the games are Xbox One titles The King's Bird and Shadows: Awakening, along with Xbox 360 (backwards compatible) games NeoGeo Battle Coliseum and Injustice: Gods Among Us.
The first games will be made available very, very soon (likely next Monday), so we want to know how you feel about next month's selection, as well as which title you're most looking forward to below.

I'm pumped for injustice so it's pretty good for me. I have GPU so these are seen as freebies, i know I'm paying for Xbox Live Gold in there so it's being paid for but I don't see them scrapping this until they scrap live completely. I have a decent amount of games from this in my library now so I'm not complaining. Injustice, Lego games and little nightmares are some key stand outs so far. Have a few I really want to play at some point that could also turn out to be great.
No, they need to either scrap it altogether or put in some effort like they do with gamepass
Very excited for Injustice. I've played the second one. Never got a chance to play the first one.
I never played Injustice, I’m excited to check it out.
Tbh poor as it has been for a while...not that I care seen as game pass is where it is at..I already completed injustice when it was on gamepass
I'm excited to check out The King's Bird. Wish there was more co-op options this month. Not really a fan of the InJustice series because the fighting seems clunky to me. Free games for everyone!
Hopefully Phil will tell us at E3 that Games with Gold will be phased out in July and they will end it with a bang giving actual good games for a change. Like Psychonauts 2.
WHAT! GODS AMONG US!? WHEN THE DC IS SUS HAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
Needs to be scrapped.
Always terrible games that are bargain bin picks.
@UltimateOtaku91 Why would they put more effort in? They want people to upgrade to gamepass so when the GWG games aren't great, it will no doubt influence a few to take up Ultimate instead.
I do not have any problem GWG. It is a sweet bonus, esp the 360 games which you can forever own.
Why even bother at this point
I'd be more exciting if it was the Xbox One version of Injustice, but alas, they find a way to kind of ruin that. Yeah, I know the "upgraded" version isn't a huge step up, but it still wouldn't have cost them anything really to give us the Xbox One version instead. Also, yes, I've already played it on PS4, but I would have considered playing it again on Xbox for free since I still have Injustice 2 left to play and that's on Game Pass.
Still, for people unlike me that won't care, it is still a great game with a story that is way ahead of any other fighting game that I've played. I have no idea if any of the other game are appealing or not.
@KilloWertz I said the same thing on another article but someone informed me that Injustice Gods Among Us was never on XBox One, Sony bought exclusive rights to the then next gen upgrade.
@Jmjfrank Yep, you are right that it never appeared on Xbox One. I just assumed since I was primarily a PlayStation person at the time.
I have NeoGeo Battle Colisseum on PS2, and I got real into it for a brief spell back in the day... still barely unlocked anything, lol. I think just Athena? That boss (in true SNK fashion) is complete bullsh*t and I hate him. Hell, iirc, there are multiple bosses but I only ever saw that blue, floating Orochi-possessed a**hole
Needless to say, I'm looking forward to playing NGBC again!
Hi, at the beginning of the news, the link for GWG of June opens the GWG of May...
I played Injustice back in the day on Wii U. If I remember correctly, single player mode was decent and you could finish it in 4-5 hours. I might play it again.
