Well with the new rumors, looks like it might be the Halo multiplayer announced.

Ya not much an FPS guy, but graphically I agree, it's gorgeous.

Diablo 2 is the king of arpgs and I'll be playing the hell out of it on PC. Maybe XB if they have keyboard support.

D3 is and is still sh*t and doesn't compare so don't bother to mention that game.

As for the whole lawsuit thing. I wasn't there. I won't know the real truth and until there's this thing as a VERDIC in said accusations, I'll just go and play the games I want to play.

Just purely poor planning on Sony's part. They wanted (apparently) to come out with the new console in 2019, but caught wind of MS coming out with something more powerful the next year. They got stuck with their pants down and had to reengineer on the fly.

To have to open your console up and 'install' unverified memory is absolutely ridiculous. Sure a group of us who more hard core then your regular folk would have no problem, but to ask the regular kid to do that and not potentially brick their console is brutal.

This is coming from a company who's first console had an easily slot-able memory card.

I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft plans to break even this console cycle, planting seeds for the future. GamePass, cloud, Bethesda, these are long game plays with some short term benefits.

Would have been nice to be just rolled into GamePass at E3.

In light of that not happening, I could care less what they give us, it's been junk for months.

I wouldn't be so sure that this game is exclusive to Xbox. Sure MS owns Bethesda now, but there's no word if that was before, or after MS bought them. If there was a pre existing agreement to be multiplat, you can be very sure that MS will honor that, specially with Disney.

@Dezzy I didn't say they didn't do sales, I'm saying they are probably doing less by limited their market simply due to a static and unwanted difficulty level. Obviously there's no way to prove that, but logic would dictate as much.

I really don't understand this from a business perspective.

Are you really going to sell less games cause you put easier difficulties in it and piss off the purists, or are you going to sell more because its available for everyone?

Personally, I'm not in the boat anymore of beating my head over a game to finish it. Games that come out 'hard' just because they've always been 'hard' is just straight up a foolish stance and they're instantly tossed in the 'not buying' pile.

@Snake_V5 They don't care if you buy one, in fact they might even want you to not buy one right now if they're selling them at a loss.

They want you in GamePass, and don't really care where your playing it from.

I rewatched most of the show in 4K in my console chair with the sound cranked. Really made you appreciate some of the games.

While I'm mostly bummed about Helblade 2 (not even a mention of it at all?? hmmm) and a lot of the games aren't my thing, it's hard to argue that they don't have games coming, and a good chunk this year, AND to Game Pass.

All I know is my PS5 buddy I was watching it with wants to get an X this year now, and I'm more then happy right now that I've got mine. 8.5/10

@Bdbrady I'm so with you on that. They really need to show us some games from all these studios they have already. And I mean gameplay, with target release dates. I really could care less about them buying anything right now.

Ya I'm leaning on the Flight Sim release date, seeing as it looks like it might have been leaked already.

Wanted to play, then heard about the 60fps upgrade, so I waited, then heard about the graphics upgrade, and that had me wait again.

I think so.. and really, it's not that impressive tbh.

From a pure gamer standpoint, I would like their resources to be 100% on the best version of the game.

But lets be realistic here, they would be idiots not catering to millions of buyers on the older systems that people are still playing. Massive loss of revenue. That would be just dumb.

How about MS buying the Metal Gear Solid IP (seems pretty stale at the moment) and then hiring Hideo Kojima to work on the next installment?

Probably not happening, but that would be fun news.

I really wonder where ray tracing is. Surely these consoles can pull that off no? I mean it's been out on PC for a while now.

I'm way more excited to hear about them understanding people want to see gameplay over announcements and then just some CGI.

Personally, I'm of mind to not even announce a game if there's no gameplay to show. Otherwise it's just a disappointment.

You would have thought Motorsport would have been next in line, but I guess it makes sense to take your time with it, releasing it closer to PS's GT next year.

I would be happy with at FH5. Fresh start in a new area.

@FatalBubbles Studio troubles maybe? I'm curious as well as to me that's a big exclusive game for MS to have, specially when HB1 originally came out on PS first and has a big following.

Beyond the original game being awesome and I want to play it more then anything else rumored this year.

Remakes/remasters are easy money as you've already got a lot of the assets and systems in place. To ask companies that love their profits to not make these things cause it's not something one likes, and would like new IPs or whatever is silly.

People buy them, and as long as they do, it won't stop.

I find it very hard to believe this not to be an Uncharted like game. I mean seriously, Uncharted only existed cause of Indian Jones.

Wether it'll be exclusive, who knows. Who knows when the deal was signed, and who knows if it was done so with multiplatform required. Disney likes their money so I'm leaning towards multiplat.

Umm yes please? Looks like it could be a fun game but I wasn't dropping money on it with the backlog I already have.

GamePass is the gift that just keeps giving.

While I do love my Series X, I'm sure I could have lived with my One X for another year. I think both the X and PS5 could have used another year in development with games etc, plus maybe be more agile to this chip shortage we're seeing.

Beyond that though, zero complaints beyond getting some real true next gen games. Lets go E3!

@blinx01 Agreed with that line up. I would like to see Helblade 2 in there to, but I'm almost feeling greedy if I'm asking for that after all those games. Either way, it's going to be an excellent year for Xbox, I have no doubt.

It was easily one of the best narratives in a video game.. ever. Who care's if it was a PlayStation 'style' game or whatever some people above me are complaining about.

Its a pretty silly question to ask if you want to have the option to play a 'game of the year' level title on your device of choice.

Don't be phased on the idea of bringing GP/xcloud to other consoles. This isn't about 'rival boxes', it's about MONEY. If it makes financial sense to do it for both parties, they'll do it.

I think this is a very smart move by Sony, and one that MS should totally follow right away if they aren't buying the company as a whole.

With all the cross platform gaming here already, with more coming, its only makes sense to use the biggest gaming chat platform out there.

I've never paid for Premium, but did take the free perk last time it was up. I wonder if that counts and I won't be able to get it again. Guess I'll see tomorrow (unless anyone else knows for sure).

I played through TLoU1 and did find the gunplay/stealth rather underwhelming, but the story as we all know was excellent.

So with that, I simply watched a playthrough of TLoU2 on YouTube (from the comfort of the couch), sometimes skipping the combat as it did get pretty boring in some parts. Really enjoyed it more like that, over playing it.

Just my personal take, but I would agree the gunplay is easily the weakest part of the game, after both playing it, and just watching it.

Ya I can't see this being a permanent thing.. just good PR for both services. I don't see where the money would be made for either otherwise.

Watched a couple of reviews to see if I would give it a go. Everything looked promising minus the combat which is disappointing to me. I'll still give it a go but would be happy to have a bit more to it (rolls/strafe/interrupts etc).

Not sure how anyone could comment on the graphics with these screenshots. They're low res from Zoom (apparently) for god sakes.

I think if anything they're there to confirm the time period, which is at least present day, but some rumors suggest 10 years from now, which this images would back as well.

While a bait and switch would be fun.. I tend to think this is what it is, nothing to see here.

@Senua It's a flagship, console exclusive AAA first party game, a year late after a horrible initial offering. Anything less then 'next gen' is imo unacceptable.

Note: That doesn't mean just graphics.

This really is going to be a looong wait for E3.

That said.. 343 pumping this game up like they are, they must be super confident in it's improvements over last years brutal showing. My expectations are high to see something truly next generation here.

While I'm down with a GamePass release (which I doubt) who cares if it goes onto the Playstation. The Xbox is awesome and I love playing on it, and whether this game is on another console or not won't effect me or you one bit.

I'm still puzzled behind the idea of a timed exclusive for a beta, a 1 hour one at that.

I mean, does it being on the PS5 first have potential buyers thinking they're going to buy a PS5 over a Xbox, especially when you can't find either regardless? Even if they could, is that a real selling point?

Or, is it like a selling feature, saying that the PS5 is going to have timed betas in the future? Wouldn't be a tie breaking feature to me. It could be the other way around and I would be equally puzzled.
