It’s not like this is going to be a nuanced commentary on oversexualisation or something, I watch a lot of anime and know fine well that it would just be girls that look 12 with ludicrous proportions shaking themselves as a ‘reward’ for playing some mediocre gameplay.

@BAMozzy It wasn’t because of performance, it was because CDPR offered refunds without consulting Sony. If Sony’s refund policy then didn’t line up, they would then be the bad guys. CDPR essentially were trying to pass the buck and it backfired.

I really feel for the devs. These are people who worked far too many hours for months while the higher ups actively sabotaged them. They’ll be the ones taking the brunt of the crap too.

@John117 You have to apply for the refund. If you don’t ask for one then you continue to play the game and patches etc. I think you might be the one jumping on the bandwagon by even attempting to use the words ‘cancel culture’ in this context.

I love Game Pass but I also still buy games outright. That’s usually due to me either wanting Steam functionality as I have more friends on there or buying them on PS4 as I focus more on trophies. The two things can co-exist rather easily.

Morrowind is utterly fantastic, I played it this year for the first time and it totally holds up. I will say though, I played the PC versions and modded the graphics and bugs to be a playable modern standard, and this poll is specifically the best ‘Xbox Elder Scrolls’ so couldn’t really give it my vote. Oblivion is flawed but really quite good too. My vote has to go to Skyrim, I know it’s a bit of a meme but it’s still the most engrossing WRPG out there for me. The setting, soundtrack and sidequests are ace. Yeah, it’s not as deep as Morrowind but it’s just so incredibly fun.

@NEStalgia Apart from the lack of combat, pretty much. I’m honestly so glad there isn’t any combat in it as it makes for a far more interesting game with less bloat. For an example of things possible in this game, I attempted to punch a 12 year old Liverpudlian boy, fell on my face and died of a heart attack.

It doesn’t really affect me if it goes on PS. I own a Playstation and I also play PC with Game Pass. If it’s on Game Pass PC I’ll get it on that. I think it should go on PS5 provided that PS games from a similar background come onto Xbox.

Uncanny valley starts creeping in. I’d prefer if more devs went for a specific art style, rather than just humanoid character with hardware limitations of the time.

Jet Set Radio Future! I’d literally buy a Series S for the sole reason to play JSRF. I did it with Vita and Persona 4 and discovered a whole bunch of other games I’ve loved so I’d probably do the same!

Yeah, that sounds like Control to me. Really quite a good game, got the platinum too. A few technical issues held it back from greatness on PS4 Pro including save file corruption that made me restart a whole chapter. I’d play it again on PS5, it’s one of those games that would be great with Ray tracing and my PC just can’t handle that!

Options are options. Good for those who for whatever reason don’t want nudity in it. I dunno, violence and nudity are two separate issues so I guess some people might just prefer this option. Better that there’s an option for more people to play the game that otherwise wouldn’t have bothered.

@Kefka2589 I play PC and Playstation and wouldn’t have bought the game due to the Sony deal. It just doesn’t sit right with me despite being fully invested in Sony’s infrastructure.

I agree completely. I play games on whatever system, at the end of the day it’s the games that matter and not the box you play them on. It’s all a matter of preference which people fail to realise. With the little difference between the two consoles, it’s like saying The Beatles are better than The Rolling Stones, just personal preference.

Nightfire and Goldeneye on Wii were both brilliant imo. The local multiplayer was immense.

I’m binging them at the minute, beat Black Flag two nights ago. I think my two favourite games are 2 and 3, but specifically the remaster of 3. I really liked what I’ve played of Origins though so I expect my opinion to change as I go through the series! Playing Freedom Cry at the minute then onto Rogue.

Shame it’s VIII, AKA the game I’ve tried to play about 5 times and only made it a couple of discs into every single time. The mechanics are just kinda wack and in a series that includes Final Fantasy II, that’s saying something. Oh well, I’ll probably play it again through Game Pass and then abandon it on the big tank thing in the Missile Silo for the millionth time.

@NEStalgia I dunno, I’ve been playing Killzone on PS Now and it’s perfectly playable despite being an FPS. Streaming’s not there yet but I’m still having fun in the meantime.

I think the first one personally. The second is great but it didn’t quite have the same element of magic as the first. 3 is great until the end and Andromeda’s better not talked about!

Just mental. I honestly expected the PS5 to be loading games quicker as the word ever since the initial specs was that the PS5 had a far superior SSD. At the end of the day, it’s the end product that matters.

@LtSarge Honestly, the Silent Hill remasters are just so incredibly bad that’s it’s hard to recommend them. They completely ruin both games in different ways. My 2 cents, the PC version is abandonware and openly available online as abandonware which means it’s a grey area at worst. The PC discs are a fortune so I’m lucky to own my own copy but it’s just so worth it.

@Medic_Alert It’s not really a waste of time because it’s still outputting at 60FPS. This way you have a choice of 4K 120FPS or 6K 60FPS. There’s no downside to choice and there’ll be a noticeable difference in the image if you choose the 6K option.

@Medic_Alert Not really, it downsamples. It was never expected to run on a hypothetical 6K TV. The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X output a sharper image on 1080p TVs due to downsampling the 4K or thereabouts image and this will output a sharper image on 4K TVs due to downsampling a 6K image.

While I understand the intent, this is exactly the sort of game that would benefit from free DLC and live service elements!

My laptop legitimately heats up my room when playing more taxing games. I have a cooling mat to help and it’s not as powerful as the Xbox Series X. This is basically just the first law of thermodynamics in practice.

Hit and Run is so good, I still play it on my Cube every once in a while. No Simpsons arcade game here though, that’s a proper classic!
