These 17 Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass Soon (Dec 3-10)

Wow, lots of games I've been on the fence about buying these past few months, such as Control, Greedfall and Yooka-Laylee. Good thing I waited!

Recently picked up Control Ultimate Edition and the rest I’m not really interested in so I’ll get through some backlog

Excellent lineup this December. I probably would never have bought greedfall but from what I hear is a pretty good rpg so can’t wait to play it!

Dragon Quest and Greedfall are two titles that I have been looking forward to playing. In a previous post, I mentioned being somewhat interested in Control, so I'll see what it's about whenever I get around to playing it in the future.

I got Control ultimate in the sale last week to play when it’s next gen patch is out lol. I platinumed it on PS4 and imo it’s a great game. If you’ve not played it you’re in for a treat.

Oh my! Dragon Quest XIV and Control! Game Pass just keeps on giving, doesn't it? That's my December sorted (+Cyberpunk). Happy times.

Do we know if this version of Control will be updated with a next-gen patch? Wondering if I should dig in right away or wait for the patch

@everynowandben I wouldn't think it will still be on Game Pass anyway by the time the patch comes out.

I wonder if DOOM Eternal has cross save with PC... I'm part way through on Xbone but much prefer playing FPS with keyboard and mouse on PC.

@NEStalgia The regular edition of Control is not getting patched for the Series X. The only way to play the Series X version when they release it is to get the Ultimate Edition.

@KilloWertz I wouldn't doubt the Ultimate Edition eventually goes to Game Pass, at least if it's successful here. Though putting the base version and not Ultimate up makes me wonder if it'll be sticking around for a while. But the fact they already ran Ultimate for $20 before the real reason to buy it even exists makes me think it'll head to deep sales often, and thus Game Pass sooner than later.

@NEStalgia Who knows. Anything is possible I suppose, but it's a steal for $20 if somebody doesn't already own the game.

Microsoft should just buy Remedy already. That would instantly solve any problem of their games being on Game Pass or not.

And they clearly need $ if the worked with 505 Games to publish Control.

The only one on the list that mildly interests me is Unto The End. Maybe Gang Beasts?

I'm actually not getting Cyberpunk and part of my reasoning is due to Gamepass and getting Valhalla for Christmas, I personally think there is so much to try out and why waste by pre-paid subscription time? Fingers crossed the S/X optimisation will be out by March or April for Cyberpunk and I can get it then.
