@Kienda 0 has a perfect story in my opinion with really fun action combat. LaD has a perfect protaganist with really fun JRPG elements. So whichever one suits your fancy.

Like a Dragon is absolute perfection with my favourite protagonist of all time. That said, 0 is my favourite game. What a fantastic series.

I've made it through the 1st big area and I'm really enjoying myself so far. A nice way to wind down the end of the day to be sure.

Seems like licensed voice acting and music would be a necessity for this game to succeed.

Hotshot racing was a real treat. Reminded my of the old days at the arcade without the often frustrating gameplay of the old games at the arcade.

It means I still haven't forgotten the companies jarring issues and don't feel comfortable supporting them as they are without catastrophic change.

Activision Blizzard can shove off. Started avoiding them after their anti-democracy stance. Since then they've done the exact opposite of redeeming themselves, so as fond as my memories are of the original release, I can't in good concience give them any more money.

@Xenomorph_79 Respectfully disagree. I feel like that's akin to saying Halo Wars ruined the series. They're each their own thing.

They were far from expectations to be sure, but also far from bad. As with anything, to each their own. Just wanted to give a different perspective.

I started playing Yakuza 7 with dubs and ended up playing in Japanese anyway. At this point I'm all in, OG voice acting is great. It's great that they have the option, but I can't go back to dubs now.

@GamingFan4Lyf each of the 2 movie games are over two hours. I don't remember how long the actual movie was but it took some time. The 3 hour game is spot on, one took me 30, but the others took me 40 hours + to finish, I think it really depends on whether you want to look around or just rush through. Either way, I can't imagine playing them all in a row and in a rush would be fun.

@Scenes I actually enjoyed the standard ending of the game more without the DLC, I thought it was more thought provoking, while the dlc felt convoluted. I know I'm not alone, but I also know there are many people who feel the exact opposite.

That said, I'd still say it's worth playing to decide for yourself if you're willing to pay the cost. It was fun to play through, I just didn't like what it added to the story.

@BionicDodo I've played every Final Fantasy and X may be my favourite, that said I've taken 70 to beat it, and I've taken about 35 to beat it, totally depends on you.

@UltimateOtaku91 to be fair, anime (アニメ) is literally short for animation. It's an english word they borrowed and shortened, so at this point people are just arguing semantics.

I've only played 0, Kiwami, & Like a Dragon so far, but have loved every moment. Fantastic series

I really just want more classic games. Don't get me wrong, I love my time with the Genesis collection, but I wouldn't complain about more.
Also, whatever Yakuza they have I want it.

@NEStalgia I largely agree, though the first game wasn't released until 2005 in Japan. That said, I have no idea how much perspective towarda yakuza may have changed in that time, so the time difference may be irrelevant
