I assume if you download these today, before they leave, you can continue playing them?
Goodbye Alan Wake I will never finish the game
@CrazyJF I am considering it, because I started the game on the last wednesday and I was enjoying it
Yep, bought Alan Wake so I didn't have to crunch before it disappears. Brilliant game, the narrative has me hooked.
I played through Alan Wake over the last week. Most I've binged on one game in ages. I think it really worked with the gripping plot and atmosphere. Don't think it would have worked as well with a protracted play through. I actually own it on PC but had started my playthough on Xbox so plowed through on there before its removal. Just started the follow up chapters on PC.
Is the Alan Wake DLC worth it?
Wait what? I thought Alan wake was a xbox exclusives meaning all exclusives stay on gamepass? I was planning on playing this in a couple of months after I finish control
Lol alan awake, how scared i was to play it at night. When it first came out.
@Scenes I actually enjoyed the standard ending of the game more without the DLC, I thought it was more thought provoking, while the dlc felt convoluted. I know I'm not alone, but I also know there are many people who feel the exact opposite.
That said, I'd still say it's worth playing to decide for yourself if you're willing to pay the cost. It was fun to play through, I just didn't like what it added to the story.
I really tried to like Alan Wake, as I really liked Control and wanted to play through it before doing Control's DLC, but just couldn't get on with it. Was hoping to return to it sometime, but I guess it'll have to wait until it comes back onto Gamepass, or is given away some other way...
