@Kaloudz I've made an update to this post now - Bethesda has certainly made the wording SUPER clear this time after the earlier confusion 😄
The way it was all worded before was odd... and confusing!

@GhanaViking how would an Xbox disc unlock a 'code' to use on PC? That makes no sense either because then you could sell the disc and keep a PC version?
Either way I'll take Bethesdas wording over gamefly for now and await any further update.

@Moonglow To me, building things up in that way would show that MS has some sort of vision for future content on Xbox. Buying studios is clearly an option but surely just going out and buying whole studios/publishers isn't always the answer?

It seems to be the only way Xbox can get things off the ground though, at least at the minute.

@adderblack39 The series did get a sequel, but no input from DICE and it showed - Warfighter was a bit pants.
I wanted to see DICE have another go!

@Dezzy70 Around launch I had those sorts of feelings too, but how this gen has unfolded so far has made MS's Series S move look even smarter in retrospect, imo.
Stock shortages, inflation & a lengthy cross-gen period has allowed Series S to slot into the market really nicely. Loads of people wouldn't have been able to move to next-gen without it!
It's turning out to be a great console for many.

@Gr81 This is not the same thing. There may well be some wizardry behind upscaling OG Xbox & 360 Games for the newer systems, but this 'Res Boost' feature looked set to work just like 'FPS Boost'.
In that case there would have been a curated list of games that got higher resolutions, but it never happened, as evidenced by their demo game with Gears Ultimate Edition.

@Rmg0731 No. You can still buy the game and play in solo without gold/game pass, you'll just need to have your system connected at least.

@Kaloudz They did... but they never singled out Series S, always bundled it as X|S. Obviously from MS you'd expect it to cover both, but it's always a bit up in the air until they acknowledge both consoles separately.

@Banjo- @themightyant If you check out the current Ubisoft sale while logged in (on console/desktop etc.) certain titles should show up with the extra discounts. Do bare in mind one of us here only got one deal on their account (I have like 4 or 5 discounts).

@Tharsman Far Fry - a Far Cry out-in-the-wild cooking sim? I'd play that!

@Lupaie79 This is a fan-made roadmap aimed at giving us a rough idea of the schedule! MS hasn't provided any sort of official roadmap.
Hopefully we get Forza & Starfield dates soon.

@CraigDigsTrains Yep. I tried installing the X|S version to my console via the app, still doesn't work. Sadly the enhanced version is only a part of more expensive bundles and it's just the XB1 version that's free this weekend.

@Savage_Joe I wouldn't say that's the full reason, but I've been saying since announcement that it's not a great name. It's unwieldy & just a bit odd isn't it?

Quantum Break was easily as good as Control imo, if not better!

@Fiendish-Beaver Maverick Games is an independent studio right now and is not under Xbox. We're not sure on platforms yet, we'd assume the plan is multi-platform unless they strike a deal somewhere along the line! This is all very early on right now.

@themightyant @themcnoisy Agree on most of this. FH5 is technically great and still a fantastic game but FH4's map just feels more cohesive. Also the roads in FH4 make for great racing routes, FH5's are a bit more generic open road vibe.

@awp69 Blizzard Mountain, for me, was cool on paper but driving in those conditions just got annoying after a while. I prefer a down-to-earth DLC that I want to keep going back to, I haven't touched BM since launch.

Mentioning old Far Cry & Stalker has me very much looking forward to this one. Can't wait to try it on Game Pass!

@ironcrow86 This is the cheapest Legion has ever been, so price wise, you're looking good. As for the game itself, I enjoyed it more than most and London is a real treat to look at. Worth it imo!

@UltimateOtaku91 I would say you don't need to play Wildlands first. There's potentially some carry over story-wise (I haven't played Breakpoint myself) but from what I played of Wildlands it's more about the emergent gameplay than any sort of deep storyline. Good deal at 85% off!

@stvevan It's mainly due to regional price differences/currencies making things a little messy. With this amount of deals it's doable, but sometimes we're listing quite a lot of them and then it gets complicated & time consuming

@raftos Hey! No, it's not a part of Game Pass but for some reason it's showing as being extra discounted for Game Pass members. The store appears to take another £1 or so off when signed in as a GP member!

@Lup Yep, Xbox usually runs one last huge sale that runs up to the new year. Last year's promotion went live on December 17th, so this year's could be later this week!

@Clankylad The idea of 2 is great, on paper it sounds really interesting. But, in my experience it's just not that fun, there's too much awkwardness within its systems and its world. I never managed to finish it...

@MaccaMUFC Yep. I think the modern weaponry and the smaller maps do make it quite a lot more accessible than HLL though. More combat and less sprinting through empty spaces

@Tharsman The rumour is that 2023 will be a gap year, with MW2 potentially getting two years of support before Treyarch come back into the fold. Not confirmed though, so we'll have to wait and see!

@Non_Toxic_Camper I'm assuming its involves driving... I did think of bringing it up but thankfully it doesn't detract from the campaign overall.

@Nightcrawler71 You can uninstall parts of the game with MW2 (as you have been able to in the last few CODs) but I believe you have to download the whole thing first and then start removing. MW2 is about 85gb right now, for the full thing.

@Moist_Raine Yeah, I'd love to see some sort of collection of some of those older games. Basically a modernised way of enjoying classic TR in some fashion

@somnambulance Personally I haven't played through the Remaster, but I too think the 360 version is still solid. The resolution is low, but man, with FPS Boost it really does work great.

@Kaloudz Hmm, what didn't you like? Rebirth is a bit more puzzle-y and has a more involved storyline compared to the sometimes-vague-wandering of the older games. It might be worth a shot, I'll be putting a review up on it around release anyway!

@Kaloudz No. 60fps came with the next-gen update, it was 30 before on Xbox One / One X.

@TJ81 I ran into 1 or 2 bugs throughout the whole thing. Performance aside, there's no reason to wait for a patch on this if you're playing on XSX.
