It seems that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War isn't done with content just yet. Even as Vanguard has been out in the wild for a few months, Black Ops developer Treyarch is adding to Cold War. That starts with the return of a classic map, and a new weapon.
WMD is the map in question, a classic mid-sized map from the original Black Ops. Some of you may remember it for its snow-covered streets and high-up walkways, the latter of which provided great sniper spots.
Adding to the weapon pool is the Vargo 52, a new assault rifle for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. You'll have to unlock this one though, either through a multiplayer or zombies challenge.
And here’s how to unlock the base version in Multiplayer and Zombies:
In Multiplayer: Using Assault Rifles, deal 1000 damage in 15 different completed matches.
In Zombies: Eliminate 750 enemies while using an Assault Rifle that has been Pack-a-Punched three times.
This is an interesting update and perhaps shows us that Black Ops Cold War still has a healthy player base. That'll please Activision, who may well be skipping a Call of Duty title in 2023 and supporting 2022's game a little longer.
Are you still playing Black Ops Cold War into year 2? Let us know in the comments.

Better late than never. At least they're not charging for it like they did with BLOPS 4.
I still play Black Ops beside Vanguard. I think it’s the better game.
@Bleacdemon I'm still playing it too! I didn't pick up Vanguard. Rumours are that Jungle is the next returning map
@Kezelpaso that would be awesome. One of my all time favorites. But also very happy with WMD.
They actually removed a few maps from modern warfare
Unlocked the gun in Cold War Zombies but it isn’t showing in Warzone.
