I do get why you are irritated because you don’t want it. Phil has always talked about “choice” & all of that. And I can tell you are a long time Xbox guy. So this news is, literally, just costing you more $.

And that is messed up, to your point. I hope you don’t leave the Xbox ecosystem because you seem like a rare, level headed gamer & old, like me. 😂

I do agree that they need to get rid of the ridiculous Xbox Live paywall on F2P games.

Game Pass is such a ridiculous deal, at this point, where I don’t understand why anyone would not already be signed up for it (if you are an Xbox gamer).

And this is coming from a guy who still buys physical games from places like GameStop or Ebay.

Just get Game Pass & be happy in life. It’s really that simple. 😁😂👍🏻

Not all GWG games are on Game Pass. So, if you like any of these games (doesn’t sound like you do), then I would download them when they become available.

And yes, Gears 5 is in Game Pass & always will be. 👍🏻

What a month for GWG!

Anyone that complains about this is just a person that will never be happy in life.

It’s getting really annoying that we can’t buy these kinds of things.

I am interested to see what this studio can do with something other than a 2D platformer.

I still don’t get this acquisition.

Correct me if I am wrong.....but all they make are racing games, correct? And EA already has the Need For Speed & Burnout IPs? 🤔

Yes Push Square is always waiting to put some article up about Xbox. Their editors, apparently, don’t have much else to do.

Funny....because with all of those “amazing exclusives” (🙄), you would think they would have so many games to play to keep them busy. I guess not.

I do agree that they should make F2P games accessible without paying for Xbox Live. I have no idea why they haven’t done that yet, but it all comes down to $. Microsoft makes a ton of $ off of Xbox Live.

While I don’t agree with them doing this, if you have Game Pass Ultimate then this changes nothing. I have no idea why people would not sign up for Game Pass at this point (it is the best deal in gaming history), but to each their own.

Agreed. These bundles are just another way to price gouge the consumer. It’s ridiculous & almost just as bad as the scalpers.

No problem. You don’t need to play Wolfenstein 3D or the 360 game (which is underrated, but was an Activi$ion game unfortunately), but starting at The New Order (which will come to Game Pass eventually) is the way to go based on the story of the games.

If you start at Youngblood, it will kill your love for the franchise right away & you won’t know what is going on story-wise.

Youngblood is, by far, the worst Wolfenstein game (in my opinion).

Playing the previous games (when they come to Game Pass) would be recommended. They are single player games with a focus on story, so without playing them.....Youngblood will not make much sense.

I don’t think it’s sunk in yet for us Xbox gamers. I love Bethesda’s games (with some exceptions), so this acquisition was perfect for me. They were my favorite 3rd party publisher/developer.

Now they are in the family. 😁

I use it all the time & it definitely needs some updates.

I haven’t played it in a long time. So I’m not quite sure. But it awesome when I did play it.

The 360 sequels weren’t as good. Part 2 isn’t bad, but then it went downhill fast.

This happened to me too and was super frustrating. Thankfully, not having the upgrades didn’t make finishing the DLC too difficult.

They need to patch that, in my opinion.

I am playing the original Dead Space off Game Pass from EA Play.

The game is still amazing all these years later.

I’m playing the original Perfect Dark as part of Rare Replay.

I just play games that I want to play & get achievements that way.

There is no way that I am going to waste my time trying to speed run a bunch of indie games in January just to get to 10k in one month.

As a Madden owner, this is ridiculous. Of course, I should expect this nonsense by now from EA Sports.

I’m glad this didn’t happen. I love Xbox the way it is. And I haven’t wanted or owned a Nintendo console since the Wii. And I hated the Wii.
