Microsoft has officially announced February 2021's Xbox Games with Gold, giving us a look at five (!) more games we'll be able to play at no extra charge with our Gold memberships next month.
In case you missed it, the games are the epic Gears 5, the original Resident Evil remake, 2D metroidvania Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition, original Xbox game Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb, and Xbox 360 title Lost Planet 2.
We've still got over a week until the first games are made available, but for now we want to know how you feel about next month's huge selection, as well as which title you're most looking forward to below.

People who voted 'They're terrible', bravo bravo.
Rolls eyes
@JetmanUK
Probably PlayStation fanboys who voted that
This is what GWG should be, What a awesome month.
To be honest I would only play Gears out of these so its probably not a great month for me. Oh no - I must be a PS fanboy.... Quick better vote the top option in case people rubbish my opinion....
I do laugh at Lost Planet 2. I had that on the 360 and never got to play it because it RROD on me and I never played my 360 again after that. Maybe I would give that a go, other than I don't really want to play a game from 2 gens ago when there are so many newer games I'd rather get through first.
Damn, I bought Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb a week ago so the only games I care about from this list (Gears 5, Indiana Jones) I already own.
Not taking into consideration games I already own, this month's Gold offerings is the best in over a year.
Ooh there a good selection! Will play Lost Planet 2 for sure. Already have Gears 5, Resi Evil though will be cool too.
Better than the usual stuff.
@StonyKL
Being a snarky SOB doesn’t help around here.
And just because these games aren’t for you, specifically, doesn’t change the fact that this is a great month for GWG. 🙄
Great month for GWG!
To be honest, it has been a letdown for months, but this is pretty impressive! 👍🏻
@KelticDevil
Preach brother! Yes, a great month and I did like the previous one. I have yet to play Dead Rising. Resident Evil and Lost Planet are on my wishlist, too 🙂 A win for me for sure.
@KelticDevil Thanks - my point exactly. Just because I don't think its a great month doesn't mean I'm a fanboy. I'm allowed an opinion as does everyone else and it doesn't need to result in name calling if it differs from someone else's!
No heard snarky since I was a kid 🤣 nice one. So many 'snarky' people on here if you don't agree with it being a great month.
Out of interest - are all these game on Game pass? Do they usually just pick out a handful of games from there or are these additional. Obviously Gears is always on game pass but is it a usual thing? Wondering if people with game pass have any interest in GwG additions.
@StonyKL
“Snarky” is my way. 😉
And to your question.....
Not all GWG games are on Game Pass. So, if you like any of these games (doesn’t sound like you do), then I would download them when they become available.
And yes, Gears 5 is in Game Pass & always will be. 👍🏻
How does it work? Are the games i claim locked after my subscription end like it is with PS plus?
@StonyKL Not having a lot of games you would play doesn't mean it isn't a quality offering. Getting Gears 5 in itself for those who don't have Game Pass is a great value.
I played Gears 5 from Game Pass and I own RE, but it still is very good month. I'm interested in that Indiana Jones game.
@Darth_Stofi
Yes, same as PS plus, unfortunately.
I had considered buying Resident Evil many times just for the nostalgia. Horror games aren't for me. But that was my first way back when Blockbuster Video rented consoles.
Already own most stuff in the list, except Dandria and Indiana Jones. Was thinking to get Indiana Jones since the Bethesda announcement, and I love me some metroidvania, so quite happy.
