The cat is finally out of the bag for what the upcoming Resident Evil multiplayer mode will actually be, as Resident Evil Re:Verse has been fully revealed following the leak earlier today.
A short but sweet teaser revealed it is in fact a PvP online multiplayer mode for up to 6 players, featuring characters from all eras of Resident Evil as they battle it out in iconic locations. The twist is the new cel-shaded art style, which we must admit does look rather snazzy.
It will be available for free for all Resident Evil Village owners when it launches on May 7th. It was also revealed the much anticipated new entry in the series will also be hitting Xbox One, so nobody will be left behind.
Additionally, if you fancy trying Resident Evil Re:Verse before it arrives this May, Capcom is hosting a short beta period for the game later this month, with sign-ups available on the official Resident Evil website.
