8.25 and 3.75? Whats with this scoring šš round it up
I played the Closed Testing for Squadrons. Wasnāt a fan myself, felt the turning and maneuverability of the ships was very slow and there was no options to change sensitivity. Feedback on the forums suggested it wasnāt even a skill thing, it was by design which was strange. Especially considering the ease and speed in Battlefront flying.
āI donāt know, Iām sorry for having an unpopular opinion, but Iām not feeling the outrage. Spider-Man is 2 years old. It makes sense to give free upgrades for new games so that sales arenāt split and lost, but why are we entitled to free upgrades on older games. Itās nice if companies like cdpr want to do it for free, but why should we expect Sony and Remedy to follow suit? MS can boast that theyāre doing it for free because quite frankly theyāve got almost nothing from the last 3 or 4 years to remaster.ā
Although I do think Sony should probably make the PS4 standalone version free, this point above has a fair point š¤·š»āāļø
No excuse for their games to be bad anyway. It shouldnāt take a $7.5 billion takeover to improve the quality.
Nevertheless, iām certain that under Microsoft and moving forward into this next generation, the quality of their titles is going be much better as Xbox canāt accept anything less than great at this point
@XBontendo couldnāt agree more. Having an X instead if the circle would have been perfect.
I do personally think its a very nice nice looking console and honestly, I don't really understand the hate towards any of the next gen systems and their designs.
@TheNewButler yeah youāre probably right. And Phil is right cause I donāt usually concern myself with the economics of GP, which is why I never saw it as sustainable š
@BrilliantBill but Netflix isnāt making a profit? Their expenditures match their income. Is that what Xbox want, to be skating the line?
Forza, Halo, Gears much be closing $1 billion production costs for next gen. Not to mention all others games on GP at launch. Is the GP price tag really covering all of those costs?
I donāt know, I failed accounting first time round at uni so iām probably wrong. I just donāt see it personally
Honestly I donāt understand how GamePass is sustainable other than Xbox taking the loss.
PS5 games at Ā£70/Ā£60 or even less in stores, will make more than enough of the money back and people are going to buy games, enough of this ānobody will pay that muchā crap.
GamePass is insane value for the consumer, no denying that, but I agree it doesnāt really seem sustainable and iāve questioned that all along. But what Jim has said here makes complete sense to me.
There are a whole lot of clowns in the comments section.
Regardless, Sony has a solid offering for launch/2021 with exclusives.
Xbox has a solid GP launch lineup with Series S priced at Ā£250 which is insane value.
Maybe no need for PS5 at launch. No real need for Xbox Series X at launch either.
For me its all in what appeals to the individual gamer. Iāll buy PS5 in 2021 alongside a Series S. Thats where the value sits personally, now that all the cards are on the table.
But you fan boys and clowns in these comments seriously need to spend your time doing something else rather than making yourselves loom like children. Hell, why not go play some games!
Immortals looks awesome. Siege gets a 4K 120fps upgrade. Scott Pilgrim returns. Aiden from WD1 is back. Riders Republic looks great & could be a big hit if it handles well.
Disappointing that Sam Fisher is added to another game which isnāt a Splinter Cell game but is that really a surprise at this point.

@KelticDevil I was waiting for you to turn up to yet another article where you pass off genuine criticism as āfanboyā or āripping and complainingā.
If you had read any of the messages above or in articles past, you would be more aware of the situation, what is being said and possibly construct a better reply.
But here you are, again, with almost nothing to say but p*ss off to āPlayStation guysā. Top man!
By all means, hit that ignore button Iād rather you never got involved in genuine discussions on here anyway, always one sided, never constructive.
@Cyrus29 exactly. Iāll be the first to criticise PlayStation before I do any other brand whether it Xbox, Nintendo or PC. But when somebody canāt see clear faults in their own favourite brand and continuously prolongs and ignites this āconsole war fan boy s**t showā its exactly as you said, childish.
Plus the audacity to then try and say others are one sided when youāre called out by someone who presents a reasonable, its just embarrassing.
I love coming to this site as there are some great articles and I enjoy getting involved in discussions about Xbox, but some honestly make it mentally painful to visit.
You say that as if I only own a PS4 and not both consoles. You say that as if I donāt own GP Ultimate. You say that as if I donāt intend to buy both consoles.
Some of us āpea brainsā as you call it, actually are able to have a reasonable discussion and critique both sides for their shortcomings rather than your constant one sided agenda.
And personal attacks? If you canāt take criticism then whats the point in even having a dialogue. Simply put, you are not seeing the flaws in your āXbox familyā and then throw shots at the opposing brand. Plus, donāt preach about āno need for personal attacksā after your last message.

@Z3u5000 in this moment just now youāve overdone it and shown yourself to be āconsole war jockeyā you so often criticise.

Also you keep hyping on about āSmart Deliveryā, PS has it too, they just donāt need to hype it as one of their main selling points, its just a given. So by mentioning that again yourself with GP, youāre only damaging your own clout and making everyone more aware that Xbox doesnāt really have much for Series X.
Wait....maybe youāre the ultimate troll and thats been your goal all along š
Iād have thought some next gen talk would have been an obvious move given how close to launch we are.
Given how invested gamers have become with Japanese games and Xbox trying to tap into that market, iād have also thought theyād want to showcase some of their games running on Series X to build in that market, whilst still pandering to their western audience.
Strange move unless they have another show planned that they havenāt revealed yet. They really should have just delayed the console, I stand by that. Delay, drop with Halo and all late 2020/early 2021 games on GP, job done!
Although itās not a huge issue for me as I own a PS2 & PS3 (***** brother sold PS1 and the games many years ago), PS5 really should support them.
It should never have been a case of consumers thinking will they wonāt they. It should have been a case of how many games are we getting per console fully supported.
Weāll have to see now if Sony care to comment.
Again, itās no deal breaker, Iāll purchase a PS5 regardless of whether it has BC or not, but itās inexcusable for BC not to be a thing this gen. Props to Xbox.
Iām sure once the bugs are ironed out and servers are running smoothly all the time, they will look at bringing it to Switch and Xbox GP. Think of it as Beta testing on these PS4 and PC.

Funny how these differing consoles like to adopt good qualities from their ārivalsā. Almost as if these features make systems better for their customers!

Re: Review: Star Wars: Squadrons - The Force Is Strong With This One
I played it back in July and wasnāt a fan at all. Interactions mid mission between characters was overly dramatic and poorly acted.
Manoeuvring the ships even with the correctly selected skills and set ups was far too slow and made it incredibly frustrating to tackle enemies.
Granted this was a beta esque playthrough of the campaign and multiplayer, but not stuff that can be quickly changed with feedback.
I hope the final product is better than what I played.
Re: Roundup: Here's What The Critics Are Saying About FIFA 21
The game consistently gets 7 and above ratings. But its often played by people who donāt play it all the time.

Re: You'll Get 802GB Of Usable Storage Space With Your Xbox Series X
Definitely going to use the external HDD and just transfer.
Bought a 5TB one from Amazon about 3 years back on sale. Have over 200 games on it currently and it works a treat.

No surprise tbh, I think that for the time being they will utilise the other consoles for extra revenue as they have with Minecraft.
Smart move really, though I can definitely see some very strong Xbox/PC exclusive games in 3-4 years. New Vegas 2 being the first I reckon.

Exciting times!
Re: The Xbox Series X Launches November 10th For Ā£449 / $499
@IronMan30 its nothing new. Its always more expensive for us in UK
Re: Poll: Which Next-Gen Xbox Are You Currently Planning To Buy?
At Ā£250 the Series S is super attractive for launch.
Re: Rumour: Microsoft Insider Shares 'First Look' At Xbox Series S
That is an insane price point for launch. S is going to occupy a huge market share this holiday season for sure.
People thinking this means Series X will be cheaper now too, I think the opposite. I think Series X at $499 or higher is more likely now.
