@101Force I actually love Disney Universe. It's a 4-player couch co-op game similar to a Lego-style game where they aren't very punishing. And obviously, Lego Lord of the Rings

@Deljo Both are very good, but two is missing an entire planet due to a rushed development cycle. 1 is more polished, 2 is more ambitious. I also like 2's system where you can actually make on of your side characters gain force powers by having them on your team enough and such.

Rocket Knight is a hidden gem.

This is so upsetting. They took all the silliness out. There's no reason to try and compete 1-on-1 with a GTA without having your own twist on it, that's why 3 and especially 4 were so much fun, they were completely off the wall.

Sony hasn't put much out that interests me specifically, but clearly, it's been working for them.

If it's anything like the movie business, you never never take a contract based on profit because they take the actual profits to write off losses for other movies, so good lawyers/agents know to go off box office for a lesser percentage because you'll actually make more. Don't get me wrong, they shouldn't have to do that, you should be able to trust people to not be shady, but unfortunately, that's how it goes. Hopefully, they can figure it out, they're a talented group.

@lokozar I mean, people are saying there should be some broad strokes warnings, but go off on saying "every eventuality". Stalking and emotional manipulation aren't some niche things.

Websites all over exist to help people with such decisions, so what is wrong with making it more easily discoverable and from the creator themselves. They responded and are dealing with it. For someone who claims to not care about offending people boy howdy are you big mad and offended about people who do. Maybe ask yourself why.

Played so many indies I wouldn't have otherwise thanks to Game Pass. Outer Wilds, for example, and that's one of my favorite games of all time now.

I know it's only five games, but you can't go wrong with any of these games. There's some 360 remasters of OG Xbox games in Game Pass too, like Fable. Surprised Conker isn't on Game Pass, but it was on Games with Gold.

Some absolute gems you can play with backwards compatibility in general, one of my favorite features as an old person with a decent Xbox game collection.

The question of "what happens in the future" still remains though. Do they have any type of fail safe planned once the console is officially retired to sort of unlock it?

As a collector, I'm here for it. You should have explained how there are five unique Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone games; Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, PC, PS1, and Xbox/PS2/GameCube are all completely different! It's wild.

Games can be good and even great with parts of them not being great. 🤷‍♀️

Was a big fan of the new Battletoads, so I'm looking forward to hearing about their next project.

Not a great selection, but Hard Corps freaking rules so it's worth it for that. I always say if one of the choices are good, I won't complain, and that game is GREAT.

@VenomousAlbino Based on the description in the video, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Activision had nothing to do with this being cancelled, it was all caused by the owners of James Bond.

@Nightcrawler71 For me, it's about personal tastes, but if you want something that's more of a show-stopper, Coco from Disney-Pixar is very colorful with a lot of contrast. I've found a lot of animated movies in general look very good. And there's your classic action movies, Terminator 2 looks great, Fifth Element is a lot of fun. Recently watched Hook and it's cool seeing all the detail in the costumes and such. Overall, I suggest getting something you already know you enjoy and if you have money to get something new, take a stab at something.
Physical media still dominates when it comes to quality, as streaming needs to compress things to not have to buffer all the time and whatnot.

The same can be said for digital music but that's an entirely different rant I can go on.

@papahefe As San Diego Studios isn't used to working on the Xbox, it is highly likely if they have an Xbox version this year it would take longer for them to get ready for cert.

@BeautyandtheBeer So, it wasn't exclusivity paid by Sony, it's just a first party Sony studio and no one else was making MLB games. 2K used to and even had exclusive rights for 3rd party MLB games, but stopped making them because they weren't making money off them. (Because they weren't very good, imo) The last year they made it, it was quite literally a menu and roster update.

@Kefka2589 @xMightyMatt14x The Old Republic (I know, it's an MMO) has multiple extensive campaigns that are directly tied into KOTOR and you can play basically solo. But you can only play it on PC, which stinks. It's worth at least looking into all of it to see if you're interested. Those who are into it would tell you it's like, KOTOR3 through 10, but YMMV

KOTOR collection with The Old Republic included with an offline mode to allow all the campaigns to be playable offline.

@gollumb82 XV and the VII remake are the same engine and similar gameplay. They're both more like KH than a turn-based FF game.

@KonstantTrouble While Tricky is definitely the better game SSX 3 is playable on the XB1/Series X/S, if that means anything.

This looks much less terrible than the current app, which is so terrible, I cancelled my subscription.

Bought the system for the backwards compatibility, so I know my answer pretty easily. Already played a handful of original and 360 games on mine.

This is good advice at all times for everything.
