We're a couple of weeks away from entering the month of April, so as we always do here at Pure Xbox, we're taking an early look at what's ahead for Xbox Game Pass in April 2025 - and the list is already stacked as things stand!
The big Xbox first-party launch of April is South of Midnight, while Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 also looks set to be a huge third-party game for the service on the 24th. We're liking the look of all the indie games in the list as well!
We'll keep you in the loop about April 2025's Xbox Game Pass titles as they're announced over the coming weeks, but for now, let's take a look at everything that's been announced for next month already:

Based on all the previews I've read. Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 is shaping up to be a dark horse candidate for Game of the Year. I sure hope so, because everything is looking fantastic right now for this studio's first game. The voice actors are an insane compilation! Some big, heavy hitters!
Game Pass users keep eating good.
I think I might finish Shadows in time for Clair Obscur.
Blue prince and expedition 33 will be in my wheelhouse if they turn out.
Tempopo also looks like it might be neat.
I've just got a new job but now I'm wondering if it's too late to say I don't want it, because there's no way I'm getting through all the games I want whilst also having a job and responsibilities 😬
I'll definitely be trying South of Midnight and Blue Prince looks interesting. But Expedition 33 I am super pumped for.
I think I'm most excited for the commandos game but a very solid month.
I'm hopeful south of midnight will be good and I'm positive expedition 33 will be very good I'm really looking forward to that!
The Xbox tester has a gameplay video up it looks right up my street!
One hell of a good month coming up. Can't wait!
Infinite Wealth, Metaphor, and now Clair Obscur. Great couple years for JRPGs.
I will play all of them but blue Prince and Clair obscur stand out for me… South of midnight a bit less but high…
Really looking forward to South of Midnight and Expedition 33 (which I would have bought if the Collector's Edition were still available), and I also really enjoy the type of strategy game that is Commando Origins too, plus Blue Prince looks very interesting, thus, in a really rare turn of events for me, there are 4 games at one time that I am interested in playing on the Game Pass, which I so rarely make use of. So having had GPU since day one, I might actually play something on it for pretty much the first time... 🤣
Super-strong month. Blue Prince looks amazing and Expedition 33 is one of my most anticipated this year. South of midnight… fingers crossed, haven’t been fully convinced yet. And Descenders is fun.
Sick month south of midnight and expedition 33 mainly for me😎 but also blue prince probs not my type of game tbh but does seem like something different could be good
