@BowsersBuddy Those adapters could still be officially licensed though. Official license is not the same as "made by Microsoft". So get the companies that make those adapters to license their adapters with Microsoft. They (MS) are supportive of ways to improve less abled people to play their games.

Only thing MS is not supportive of, are gamers who want to use adapters for auto-aiming or other cheats. And that is absolutely the best way to go.

But why? The XBOX ONE controller is an evolution of the XBOX 360 controller. And at least 100x better. And the XBOX Series controllers are even better.

@ymo1965 1 hour sessions are the free tier. Only thing you need is to own supported games on one of the supported PC stores.

You can also pay for a subscription which gives you either 6 hour or 8 hour sessions (and other benefits)

@antstephenson All games on GamePass can also be purchased directly on PC (even with a 20% discount if you have gamepass) I see no reason why MS would change that. (And there is no indication they will)

I do hope the XBOX Design Lab reopens soon. I want to make my own XBOX Series controller.

It controls a lot like a mix between old resident evil games and the point / click genre and it looks really awesome.

Yeah, I'm not feeling the 6/10, even if I only played a little while of it. This is a very good horror experience. Sure you don't have full camera control and the movement is lacking, but that is what made those old horror games great.

I hope the XBOX design lab relaunches soon. My favorite controller is the XBOX ONE controller I designed last year.

@Tasuki It would matter a lot to people who only buy one next gen console at launch Most people do not buy multiple consoles and buy the console their friends are buying.

So if just the PS5 launched, everyone who isn't "just an XBOX gamer" would get it. And most of them would ignore an XBOX launching 6 months later.

@AJDarkstar It's actually the same disc drive that was in the XBOX ONE X And disc drives usually are noisy, especially slot in drives.

I noticed this as well, this morning I plugged my One's rechargeable battery into my new Series X controller and it works perfectly. Disposable batteries aren't very ecological, and rechargeable ones needs to be taken out of the controller to be recharged. And this is more expensive, because then you also need a battery charger.

I will just use my Nintendo Switch Pro controller cable to charge the controller.

@Mckilmer Tetris Effect is perfect if Tetris 99 is too calm for you.

Kingdom Hearts 3 (I already had it on XBOX One), Gears 5 (GamePass) and Tetris Effect (GamePass) and maybe Valhalla if it arrives today. (The XBOX Series X is already sitting beneath my TV)

@StylesT Yep. I will be playing Assassin's Creed and Tetris tomorrow (and some XBOX ONE games), since both Assassin's Creed and the Series X have been shipped. Now all I have to is wait for them to arrive

@StonyKL The BluRay problem should be fixed by rebooting your console and the EA Play games are in your "My Games". A bit annoying, but not really a dealbreaker.

@sandman89 They're all software related. So a patch in 1-2 months will fix all of them. By that time all XBOX Series Xs will be sold out.

They have terrible support for the XBOX Series X (you need to buy an XBOX Series X version of the game) and they offer exclusive ingame benefits to PlayStaion players?

The XSX is a beautiful mini fridge. I like simplistic design, and I am feeling that with the Series X.

The PS5 looks more like an expensive toy. With cheap plastic and a design by a 5-year old.

Cool design, but that price and then not even X|S design? Well that's a pass.

@themightyant Braille is different in other languages. So that couldn't be used.

It's very simple for MS,

Do you have a 4K TV? Get the X.
Do you want to have physical games? Get the X.
Do you have a Full HD TV and don't care about physical games, or you have a smaller budget? Get the S.

I have GamePass ultimate and a 4K TV, so I chose the X.

If the system gives off heat it simply means it's doing its job of exhausting all the heat out of the device. So yeah, that's perfectly normal. My PC does the same. Heck even my iPhone gets warm after hours of gaming.

@Chimera_Police It's about TV shows and movies. Apple doesn't require netflix / amazon prime video / etc. to review ech movie / show separately.

If Apple would release Apple Arcade for the XBOX, Microsoft would 100% want to check each game. Like they do with all XBOX releases.

I will buy one when I need it. Hopefully it will have enough stock for easy purchases. I can live with the price.

@BlueOcean DF is a bunch of Playstation fanboys. I'm sure in their tests the PS5 will be the best console.

I'm 100% sure I'll be unboxing my XBOX Series X on 10th of november.

Got one at bol.com (Dutch), after I got the confirmation the pre-orders were all sold out. So, I'm very lucky.

Timed exclusivity is usually around a year. So, no problem here. Or just play it on PC if you really can't wait.

In Europe XBOX isn't as big as PlayStation. So I don't think it will sell out here very fast. However, I have some pre-order sites bookmarked.

Ofcourse, MS will just keep updating it every few years. XSX basically is an updated XBOX ONE.
