I myself went from x360 to ps4, but at the moment the series X is more alluring to me. Its backwards compatibility means it's an xbox one and a new xbox for me, and I also like how open they are about the new console - I guess it's more about feelings at the moment than it is hard facts.
I don't expect a price point lower than £499 to be fair, and I don't really mind. Haven't made my mind up though whether I'm sticking with playstation or go back to xbox, but the price factor won't be that important to me. After all, you're stuck with it for at least five years or so.
@gingataisen Good question. Most games receive patches nowadays, but it seems that this game has particularly problems running adequately. That's one of the reasons why I'm apprehensive to buy many games on their launch date. To answer your question, that was Two Point Hospital last month, which ran beautifully from the get-go.
Because of all this upheaval in the Sony camp about the PS5's SSD, you'd almost forget that the new X Series has got one as well! Really chuffed about this as I've grown sick and tired of loading times this gen.
Some sad news! I don't read console-specific mags, but used to read GamesTM a lot (which are also closed down) and currently have a subscription to Edge.
Current generation and next generation difference quite staggering. Not that interested in who's got he biggest johnson, but I would like to know some more about games and backwards compatibility.
For me, as someone who didn't have an Xbox this generation, backwards compatibility is quite a big thing. The ability to play 360 games is quite nifty as well, as there is only so much space under my telly.

Re: GTA 6 Appears On Actor's Resume, And He Responds With A Statement
Wouldn't it be something if this was revealed to be a launch game for next gen? I do hope it's going to be based somewhere else than America though.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (April 4th)
Picked up Blazing Chrome and The Touryst this week, so will be playing those next to Final Fantasy 9.

Re: DOOM 3 Was Released On The Original Xbox 15 Years Ago, Do You Remember Playing It?
I do actually! Still have the steelbook in my collection. Really enjoyed the direction they went in at the time, and the graphics were terrific.
Re: Moon Studios Confident Upcoming Patch For Ori "Will Solve A Large Number Of Issues"
@gingataisen Ha, I just happened to buy that yesterday. Excellent game!

Re: Totally Reliable Delivery Service Added To Xbox Game Pass
Is this a sister game to Death Stranding by any chance?
Re: Dev Shares Gameplay Video Of Planned 4K, 120FPS Xbox Series X Exclusive
@ThanosReXXX Fair enough!

Re: Rumour: New Resident Evil Coming In 2021, Will Be "Biggest Departure" In Series History
As long as it's not another open-world snoozefest I'm up for it!
Re: Dev Shares Gameplay Video Of Planned 4K, 120FPS Xbox Series X Exclusive
@ThanosReXXX What this generation has taught me is that indie titles can easily keep up with, if not surpass, most AAA games for me.
Re: Dev Shares First Details Of Planned 4K, 120FPS Xbox Series X Game
That looks like Ecco the bloody Dolphin to me! It's been too long since Defender of the Future.

Re: Guide: All Xbox Series X Games
Nothing essential for me yet, although a new WRC game is always nice.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 28th)
I'm playing Pikmin 3 this weekend, which is much better than I remembered, even though the controls are a step downward from the first two.
Als playing Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze and Two Point Hospital.
Re: Moon Studios Confident Upcoming Patch For Ori "Will Solve A Large Number Of Issues"
How about the idea of publishing a game that's properly finished?
Re: The Next Game In The Dark Pictures Anthology Has Leaked
@roe I concur, Man of Medan was a massive letdown after the excellent Until Dawn.
Re: The GTA 6 Website Has Been Updated, Reveal On The Way?
Not sure if I'd still be interested if it was set in an American city yet again. Part of what made Sleeping Dogs so great was a completely setting.
Re: Poll: How Do You Feel About The Xbox Series X Controller Requiring AA Batteries?
As long as they last longer than the 3 hours my PS4 controller lasts before needing another charge I'm absolutely fine with it.
Re: Rumour: CeX Stores To Temporarily Close For At Least 14 Days Due To Coronavirus
14 days?! That's an optimistic estimation if I ever heard one.
Re: Xbox Series X And PS5 Power Difference 'Quite Staggering', Hints Ex-Sony Designer
@SuperNintendoMii I'm thinking the same thing. I'm not arsed about most of Sony's 1st party games, so this could be quite interesting.
