Ok so after being persistent and not taking no for an answer, 3 hours later from the time that preorders went live i finally have my series x! I'm surprised anyone still has availability this late but hey, worked out for me!

no luck on my end. I tried best buy, target, microsoft, and gamestop. it's a sad day for me

@Ptpete Nice! Gears is tons of fun. The horizon series is great, playing through 4 right now on game pass. Halo of course is great as well, I'm also playing that on game pass. Enjoy it man!

well it's almost 8a where I live but preorders don't go live until 10a so I have a little over 2 hours to go. I'm at work so I'm crossing my fingers I can hide for a bit and get my preorder done. Hopefully I don't run into any issues. Quick question for those who have managed to preorder, did you have to put any money down to preorder or as long as you finish paying it off before November 10th?

I remember the feeling of playing gears 1 for the 1st time. Man oh man, that game was so great and different from anything that I had ever played. I couldn't put the controller down. Gears 1 is my personal favorite but gears 2 is the one I spent the most time on with multi-player. Hoping to play through 5 and tactics on the series x.

@FraserG Do you have any more details on how to win an Xbox through the Taco Bell app? I downloaded it before the 13th and signed up for the rewards program. I have yet to receive any email about gaining access for the daily drawings from the 15th-21st. I tried looking up information on taco bell's website and on Xbox but didn't see anything more than what you posted on here.

It's been pretty good to me. I plan on returning my Kishi and just buying a clip instead for my controller. I have yet to try and play using my mobile data connection so we'll see how that goes. Wifi has been superb so far. I had minor issues with some stuttering while scrolling through the game library which I never got before yesterday when the whole library of games wasn't available yet. Not sure if anyone had similar issues but hopefully that gets resolved.

@NotoriousWhiz I would assume input lag is less with the Kishi since it's directly hooked up to your phone, but from my experience so far the Kishi isn't great with every game. I may just return mine and opt to play with a standard wireless controller and buy the clip instead.

This is amazing! I've been using xCloud with my kishi although there has been a limited number of games available. I'm very happy with this list!

@Darthroseman Wasn't aware 2k was working on a football game but they do have NBA playgrounds and wwe battlegrounds so I guess that makes sense. And man mvp baseball would be great too!

@bmlinds I want blitz back so bad. New or backwards compatible at least.

I was really hoping for a slightly bigger discount on some of these games considering this is the "Ultimate" sale. I say that because I feel like I've seen some of these games discounted even more in past sales. I should've taken advantage of the Ubisoft publisher sale when it came. There are a few titles I might wait for. My backlog is huge anyways so I'm not desperate for anything at the moment. I never finished Sunset Overdrive on Game Pass, but I may just purchase the Deluxe because that game is a ton of fun!

I wish I had done some research and known before I bought Black Ops 4 that it would have no campaign. Black Ops has always been my favorite in the COD series, but I was very disappointed when I bought it day 1 only to realize it was all multiplayer. I love a good campaign.

I've been meaning to try Dead Space and Dragon Age, but I have EA Access so I don't think I'll be buying those. My love for arcade like games wants me to purchase NBA Jam and Geometry Wars. Anyone ever played those two, are they worth a buy?

@Arugula I wish. I've been wanting a new Fight Night for so long, but they've had boxers and even Fight Night characters in UFC before. Boxing doesn't seem to be in their interest.

Busy day at work today but I'm off tomorrow so hoping to catch some game time before I catch some sleep. Need to finish Observation and hoping to get a little bit of some Halo campaign in.

I've been with xbox since the original but I never played too much halo. This was never going to be a deal breaker for me but i would have loved if everyone had fallen back in love with the franchise. That being said, the amount of negative feedback is a little ridiculous. Maybe the art style they chose won't allow them to visually show off just how powerful the series x is, but it is not a terrible looking game. It will be polished and if people actually go back and look at it in 4k, it does look quite nice. I think xbox will be just fine come launch day.

Watchdogs 2 sounds good or maybe even ghost recon wildlands. Dead to rights would be nice on there as well as the BC game.

That is a ton of games!! I would like to buy some individually but Game Pass will have me set for awhile so by the time I pick something else up maybe it'll be on sale!
@BlueOcean I don't see that happening but who knows..I'm not the biggest SF fan. I had SF4 and it was ok, but I just enjoy the faster paced "in your face" style of Killer Instinct which I hope they bring back. It'd be nice to see SF back on Xbox though. SF4 was on sale for like 75 cents last week!

So FIFA and Madden were confirmed for next gen right? I hope they're not making the mistake that they're trying to avoid with NHL 21 on next gen. I'd be perfectly ok with them skipping out on a proper next gen version of these 2 franchises as well in order to get it done right.

@Medic_Alert exactly! I'm very much looking forward to what true next gen sports titles will look like.

If this means that they'll take their time with the next gen version to make sure that its right then I'm ok with this. I would like there to be a significant difference between X1X version and the XSX version. I don't play PES but I like what they're doing with PES21 in order to get PES22 right for next gen.

Unfortunately I will be at work during the show. I'm debating whether I should sneak the stream in on my computer catching glimpses here and there, or if I should just wait until I get off of work to watch it in its entirety from the comfort of home with popcorn and all...

A part of me hates that Phil is so nice and I wish we would just go out and smash Sony's weak showing and lack of transparency with their fans, but I understand where he's coming from. I respect his maturity and professionalism. Rivalry is a good thing and it should only push each team to do better.

Not super excited about Xcloud but considering I have been paying for ultimate anyways, it'll definitely be something that I try out.

I really wish this was getting a proper release on next gen. It's already a good looking game, the graphical fidelity on next gen would make it look amazing I'm sure. Hopefully in a year or so they'll release a next gen version or hopefully they start working on a new Fight Night for next gen after this releases.

@Makina you're right about cuphead, I feel like that should've already been on Game Pass. I bought it when it 1st released so it's not an issue for me but I would've still thought it would be on there by now. My choice would have to be Control. It's the only one out of those three that I have yet to play. Not interested in purchasing it so if I try it it would have to be through Game Pass.

Getting ready for tonight's ufc ppv by playing some ufc 3 and also diving into the Crysis trilogy. EA Access finally let me download all 3!

@ChopperCampbell yes I saw that! Unfortunately there's an issue going on that won't let people download it. Hopefully it gets fixed soon so I can get to playing!

@FraserG Same here, I actually can't say I'm much a fan of any "simulator" game out there. However, this game here does grab my interest and I will be giving it a shot once it comes out.

Man I was a very big fan of the L4D series. I had so much playing through L4D2 with a friend of mine. It does make me sad to hear that IP will no longer be coming back, but I was super excited when I heard about Back 4 Blood!

$5.99 for me, just bought it. It does say "just for you" on mine.

@AJDarkstar yeah I'm not a fan of the removal of the BC games from the deals section area either.

This is a tough one. I understand why so much emphasis has been put on Game Pass. It is a brilliant service and I myself enjoy it very much. On the other hand, there are 90 million monthly subscribers to Xbox Live Gold compared to Game Pass which has just reached the 10 million mark. I don't think there is any way that Microsoft gets rid of it just like that. Not everyone is interested in Game Pass and just because Xbox Live is an older subscription doesn't mean that they should do away with it.

@Zochmenos that too! Definitely the best fighting game to play online. One of the members of Iron galaxy already stated they were working on a new game but that it wasn't KI. Hopefully Xbox listens to the KI community because we need some type of KI on next gen.
