@FraserG Thanks for the honest reply, if you don't know, you don't know. I'm probably the only person here w/o an Xbox anyway but I do like Gamepass on PC - currently playing Bugs Fable, Doom Eternal and thinking about starting D&D but the reviews are slowing me down - so here I am.

I have Gamepass but only on PC and this does look good.
@VenomousAlbino Good question. I'll go look into that now. I'd assumed so, but since I regularly use 3 emails they could be separate.
So it looks like they are the same. That 3,982 number I referenced earlier is my Gamerscore, not the 1,023 which is my MS Rewards score, still level 1. I traded in my Xbox1 for a Switch about 4 years ago and had been playing on my kids GP account on PC since then, think I just confused myself a wee bit, which isn't hard to do these days.
So now between MS, Amazon and Google I could probably die now but continue on as some type of ghost AI in perpetuity. No wonder the elderly get scammed so much, who can remember and keep track of all of this stuff? π€£
@Xenomorph_79 "Sony and other competitors who do nothing like this at all."
Nintendo does do something like this as @VenomousAlbino already mentioned Gold points, which are worth 1 cent each on the US eShope. Nintendo also has Platinum points that you earn doing all sorts of weird stuff like this. Like looking for hidden Mario's on a new game website. Then you can trade in those points for physical dodads, that they charge you $5 to ship. π MyNintendo is no Club Nintendo tho. Unless you don't consider Nintendo a competitor, then fair enough.
This is all new(s) to me. I think I have around 3982 points according to my Xbox account, or maybe that's just my MS account, but I'm still confused why my Win 10 PC has 2 apps both exactly called "Xbox" but one opens up my console achievements and one opens up my Gamepass library and they seem so different. It's so weird. π€·ββοΈ
Edit: OK, so this article is about "MS Rewards", which seems to have no relationship at all to my Xbox account, so yeah, um, nevermind. I'll do Xbox account stuff b/c I game, but I don't Bing. Thanks for the link in the article to the explanation, got it now. π
Purchased a 3m/$1 GPU trial yesterday basically just to play Bug Fables - big TTYD fan - but that Space Jam game looks like it could be fun if this pic means it has 3 player couch co-op.

@__jamiie @NEStalgia What he actually said was - and I copy and paste quote -
"βThink about what Xbox Live did for gaming--we went from single player to multiplayer, creating communities that help people connect and achieve together."
I was playing Pong multiplayer in 70's. I know he probably meant "online", but the guy is probably paid enough where he should say "online" when he means online. A lot of people were playing multiplayer and creating communities in arcades in the 80's. A lot of fighters but I always think Gauntlet when I think "multiplayer" b/c it had 4 player co-op as opposed to most games which were 2 player. 2 is barely "multi".
So he should probably say "online" if that's what he means. Though he's probably afraid if he did say "playing mutliplayer online" most people would have the same reaction as @Would_you_kindly "Made people have to pay to play online multiplayer".
For the record I had a Dreamcast and several online enabled games - Unreal Tournament, Alien Front online, Ooga Booga - but I never played online, I only used it to browse the web. I'm guessing w/ only 9 mil sold not to many other people played online either, so I can't fault him for his selective memory there.
@playstation_king I think PS5 will match the XSX price at $499, it kind of has to, but PS5 DOE won't match the XSS price of $299, no way a PS5 only missing a $50 blu-ray drive can be that cheap. MS took more out of the S than just the drive.
Also, and really more importantly, $25 or $35 a month for 2 years looks better than $400 or $500 during a pandemic. Sony has never done that type of financing before, MS has. That's the biggest hurdle Sony faces I think, the financing, not the price. Though price may hurt on the low end as well.
@TheNewButler Sony has less failed at marketing than just hasn't done any yet. And they better get on it soon. Though I think MS had such a good day yesterday Sony may be waiting a bit until the smoke settles and there is a little distance between the 2 announcements, b/c Sony ain't wining on price or financing options. I never thought Sony would announce this week, despite being a Japanese company they are very US focused and w/ Labor Day Monday I always thought next week would be better for them. But I don't see how they can win the "war of announcements" at this point.
Grandparents and parents still don't understand all of this stuff. And the people I talk to at Target understand some of it even less. But if the XSX box is anything to go by, if MS has a complimentary white box half the size of the X for the XSS that will go a long way towards distinguishing the 2. And if MS sells out all the X1S/X stock before mid-November that would help a lot as well.
Still wouldn't want to be in working in retail explaining it to people this holiday though. 2 new Xbox, 2 new PS5, and PS4.
Switch and Lite really are their own ecosystem at this point. Nintendo should really be thinking $149 Lite sales, $249 Switch sales this Black Friday if they want to sell any. Even as a portable Switch at $299 isn't looking too good next to the Series S. Lite at $149 would still sell to kids though. If Sony sells PS5 DOE for $299 Switch is really in trouble, that game line-up is severely limited this holiday.
It really is MS time to shine. I just think they could have shone brighter with better naming conventions. Expect to be having power comparison discussions the remainder of the year. Not with me, this is enough for me, but every article there will be someone. I've seen it already today.
Great week for Xbox, that leak is all but forgotten.
I don't see how Sony can match the finance plans that MS offers for both new consoles. And those plans compliment each other nicely. MS may have feared people buying the $300 S over the $500 X b/c of the pandemic fueled job losses, but only $10 more for the X than the S monthly, $35 vs $25, may make people decide, "you know what I had $300 set aside for the S, but I'll get the X instead pay-as-you-go."
EA Play at no extra charge in Gamepass alone may have won them a daily news cycle.
Box is nice, controller is nice. Complete turn around from 7 years ago. Systems should be flying off the shelves this holiday, and people locking themselves into $600 and $840 2 year plans should be good for MS stock price. Your move Sony.
Really nice. I like the unnecessary green line around the bottom that matches the green Series X underline. Somebody earned their paycheck. Really everyone at Xbox did this week. Well except whoever leaked that Series S info, they probably deservedly got canned.
If they make the Series S box white like the controller that will make shopping in stores a whole lot easier, you'll see on shelf stock long before you get there. That box might be twice as big as the Series S box as well, showing just how small the S is. Win-win.
Both my sons were paying the $5 monthly for PC Gamepass - one stopped b/c it wasn't his type of games, I think the other is still playing - but I always thought $5 per month was really cheap to play all of those Xbox games when we don't even have an Xbox. (We did, traded it in.) Worth it for Minecraft Dungeons alone, saved us $10 at least.
So $10 may make my son quit, but I think it's still a fair price to get to play all of those Xbox games w/o having to buy an Xbox, or buy new games. And if $5 EA Play is included, well yeah, $10 is more than fair.
@TheNewButler Ok, actual reply since I'm new here.
I understand what's going on, I said that in the last sentence of my original post, which still stands unedited up there at #6. But I'm talking about people who go into stores to buy these consoles for their kids and teens and don't read gaming websites.
Take your sentence for example. It starts with: "Just to be clear" and then continues with: "while the X1X does have a GPU with raw numbers that appear as impressive as XSS you can expect the Navi GPU to be around a third + more efficient than the GPU in the current gen consoles."
Say a parent of a 13 year old is told their kid wants an Xbox for Christmas, Then the parent goes to the store to buy their kid an Xbox for Christmas, and they ask the employee at Target what the differences are between the Xbox and they are told: "Just to be clear" "while the X1X does have a GPU with raw numbers that appear as impressive as XSS you can expect the Navi GPU to be around a third + more efficient than the GPU in the current gen consoles." For most parents, that doesn't meet the definition of "clear".
I get it, you get it, most people here get it, but MS is selling at least 2 new systems this holiday, plus whatever boxes will still be left on store shelves or websites from this gen, and the naming IS going to be confusing to a lot of people. It just is. Xbox 1 X, Xbox 1 S, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S. That's a lot of X's and S's.
PS5 w/o or w/o a disc drive is easier to understand. And even a grandparent will guess PS5 comes after PS4.
Nintendo made a similar mistake w/ Wii U, some people actually thought the Wii U was just the Gamepad to play on the Wii.
"1. Customers were too confused about the product. The Nintendo Wii was a phenomenon, appealing to people who didn't consider themselves to be gamers with its first-of-its-kind motion controls in a home console. It was smart for the company to want to take advantage of the machine's success, but the name it chose for the Wii's successor, Wii U, didn't communicate to customers that this was a brand-new device.
Meanwhile, the company's marketing efforts focused on the tablet-like controller, which conveyed to some customers that the Wii U was just a peripheral, instead of a full-blown console.
"Some have the misunderstanding that Wii U is just Wii with a pad for games, and others even consider Wii U GamePad as a peripheral device connectable to Wii," Satoru Iwata, the former Nintendo president who died last year, said during a company meeting in April 2013. "We feel deeply responsible for not having tried hard enough to have consumers understand the product."
Takeaway: Branding and marketing can sink your company. Always make sure to effectively communicate what makes your product different."
@carlos82 So, for every Series S article are we going to get to read that Series S is so much faster than X1S but mostly the same as X1X but really faster b/c Jaguar? B/c that will certainly make every article fun to read. Also, see next reply.
@KelticDevil Clear as mud.
@TheNewButler Sorry buddy, but I always stop reading at "buddy" with people I don't know.
@BlueOcean "so Series S is basically like Series X but without native 4K, without a disc drive and with half of the storage capacity."
So a Series S is like a Series X the same way a Switch is like a Series X b/c a Switch can't do 4k, doesn't have a disc drive, and has much less storage capacity, but it does play video games on my TV. π
I have to say I find all of this a little confusing, and I can't help but think MS made it that way on purpose.
"4x the processing power of an Xbox One console."
I'm assuming that's not the X1X, which is still now technically a last Gen console. I've read Series X is 4x faster than X1X but Series S is 4x faster than X1S so that makes XSS about as powerful as X1X. So it's really more of an X1X with an SSD. But it will play XSX games, whenever they release in 2 years. Only in 1080p not 4k.
I know Nintendo has done similar things - the Wii was as powerful as 2 GameCubes duct taped together, the Switch is really just a portable Wii U, and has the games to match, but at least those all released 1 generation at a time with very different names.
Microsoft just 2 years ago launched X1X, now XSS and XSX at the same time, that's a bit much. Oh yeah and X1SAD was not long ago either.
I mean yeah I can follow, but I don't know if the people writing all of these articles are capable of not making typos. π
Even with All Acces included I think people looking at a "cheap" $300 console aren't going to want to lock in $600 for 2 years.
But, for gamers who want it all, $35 a month looks really good for a $500 system. Kinda crazy noup front costs on new hardware.
I think that's Sony's biggest problem from today's announcement, they can go $499 on the console, but I've never seen them finance. I think $399 discless is close enough to the $299 S with what you get.
@BlueOcean As great as PS4 has been selling I can't see them revisiting the PS3 "get a second job" price fiasco of $499 and $599, especially during a pandemic when a lot of people don't even have a first JOB. π
I've been $399 - $499 since they announced DOE.
I think the killer is less the Series prices as the $25/$35 financing. Doesn't look great for a $300 console for the kids but $35 looks nice for a $500 console for the gamers.
I don't imagine Sony offering a financing option, they can't even be bothered to bundle PS Now and PS+ at a discount and they let PS Vue die.
@blinx01 "but they can't FORCE 3rd paty developers to follow suit."
They probably shouldn't, but I think they CAN. MS makes and sells XSX. All they have to say to any 3rd party dev, big or small, is: If your game isn't playable on X1 then you can't sell it on XSX. The end.
Sure that may be anti-competitive or monopolistic but that's kind of what MS does. And currently in America I'm pretty sure they can get away with it from a legal business perspective, nobody is going to stop them form making that demand.
Sure some 3rd parties will balk and move to Sony or Nintendo, but MS could do that if they wanted to.
And I mean really, nobody thinks Temtem can't run on X1. It's barely little more than a Flash web browser game.
@mousieone "when clearly they arenβt forcing third party publishers to follow suit"
Guess you're right, if everyone knows it only applies to first part games, if that, we'll have to wait and see, then no point rehashing it every article I suppose.
@Liam_Doolan Any thoughts on the elephant in the room, Microsoft's big proclamation of no exclusives on XseS for 2 years b/c it wouldn't be fair to gamers. You know, like they say Sony is doing?
I know technically they said 1st party, but they made such a big deal out "everybody gets to play every game" that they sort of put you guys on the spot covering any games ONLY coming to XseX and not X1 for the next 2 years.
@BlueOcean Seems like you already have a discussion going w/ Pretendworking and I didn't want to distract you from it. Apologies if it read more ominous than that.
I was minding my own business on twitter when I came across the tweet about this article. And these specs looked fairly weak compared to the XSX, even, I thought, to the X1X, so I came here to find out what's going on, b/c I didn't understand the reason for putting out a new console that's weaker than the old console. Even Nintendo doesn't do that. So I posted, #14, and then people, you among them, started replying to me, so I continued to have conversations b/c that's what these forums are for, conversations.
So yeah, even though I won't be first in line for a new Xbox, I like to know what's going on in the industry. The price of the next Xbox, both high and low end, will probably play a part in the price of the two new PS5 models. Nintendo won't care, they have the only portable, there more a sidekick than a competitor at this point. But I am interested.
@BlueOcean The point was explained, Xbox is more than just hardware, there is a lot of software involved. But the same can be said for Sony, they have PS+ and PS Now, and until recently they had PS Vue, and they still list hardware numbers.
So, I think MS not sharing their hardware numbers has less to them with them being focused on other things and more to do with Xbox bein goutsold about 2-1 by PS4 and also now probably even w/ Switch, a console that has only been out for half as long.
So I suppose my rebuttal to you is, MS isn't reporting hardware numbers b/c they don't care about hardware numbers, instead I think MS isn't reporting hardware numbers b/c they do care about hardware numbers. If they didn't "care" care, they would just release them and say "here are our hardware numbers, we don't care if we're 3rd in hardware sales b/c we get most of our money from subscriptions."
So yeah, I think they care. For a variety of reasons.
It is obvious they are focused more on streaming than hardware sales, Xbox games on PC for $1 per month, Xcloud, Gamepass, but they still care about hardware. They care about being the best for 1 thing. Does Spencer sound like someone who doens't care about hardware?
@BlueOcean "Microsoft doesn't care about that anymore"
Well we both know that's a load of bull. π Every company cares about the bottom line. They HAVE to know how many are selling to know how many more to make. They HAVE to know how well they are selling at each price point to know if they need to lower the price or put it on sale.
So maybe MS wants to pretend they don't care, but they care. You can't run a business selling a product w/o caring how many you sell.
Though it is obvious they don't care how many they sell in Japan, it's so few it's not worth their time to care, it's just a statement - Xbox 1 is available to purchase in Japan and however many other countries around the world. They are counting Japan as a country it's sold in, not how many they sell there. But they certainly care how many they sell in the U Sand EU.
@BlueOcean Won't it still be about 5 months before the Series drops? Are they just going to sell the S until then? Probably makes the most sense I suppose.
I just tried another MS site and found these so I'll go fix my previous post. The SAD is $249 and the S $299 so the only 1 that's wrong is the $599 X1X which is $399. Which still leaves the matter of how many Xboxen need to be on shelves at what prices?
@experTiger Some bigwig at Microsoft thought he would be clever and rather than changing names call Xbox "Series" so they don't have gens, just new systems. But if they would have asked a normal gamer person they would have told them we already have "Series" names, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, are all in a series of Playstation gaming systems. Nobody is going to call it "Xbox SERIES X", they are just going to say "Xbox X" or "Xbox Lockhart". Putting series in the name is just stupid, we know what a series is. Nobody says "I'm watching Stranger Thing Series" on Netflix, we know what a series is.
And Xbox Series X after they already have an Xbox 1 X is just a serious epic fail.
So yeah, I agree w/ you, they should have called it "Xbox 2000" then worked off of that - "Xbox 2000", "Xbox 2000 Pro", "Xbox 2000 D". Nobody is calling it "Xbox Series anything", ever. Well maybe a few diehard fanobis, but that's about it.
BTW I picked 2000 b/c of the year, and it had a nice ring to it. And the potential for future names Xbox 4000, Xbox 6000 and Xbox 8000 for the next 3 gens. I'll be dead before that ends so I don't have to care what comes after that.
Also, Atair 2600, 5200 and 7800. I'm old, I owned a couple of those.
Thanks for all the comments. I really think the article should have included the X1X specs for comparison b/c these sounded really weak to me when I read them on twitter.
And I really think MS needed a better naming system b/c between X1, X1X and XSX comments I was getting kind of confused. Just writing them out I think I'm still confused actually.
So, how many consoles is MS currently selling and how many will it be selling after the new XSX release?
Off the top of my head, so probably wrong: (edit for price)
Current
Xbox One S - $299
Xbox One SAD - $249
Xbox One X - $399
Coming
Xbox Series X Lockhart - $???
Xbox Series X - $???????
So, are they going to drop all the Ones and just sell these for like $299 and $599?
I can sort of see why they're doing this, but it's going to be hard for Walmart and Target employees explaining the different to parents this holiday. If those people can even figure it out themselves.
@FraserG Thanks. For the record we did have an Xbox 1 and traded it in for a Switch so we set up all of our Xbox accounts on there but continued to play games on PC w/ Gamepass b/c we could. So we did get use of the Companion app seeing all of our Xbox info on P. But once we traded it in the Xbox beta for playing games seemed to be all we needed. I probably made things more complicated for my kids and I by doing it that way though. But it works.
Is this the app that always seems to be in beta to play Gamepass games on PC? We don't have an Xbox so we only use Gamepass on PC and while it's great the app always seems to be a little off in one way or another. Will have to check this out.
I know they buy wholesale in bulk but that 1TB SSD would be about $150-$200 at retail right?
Did they give a price with all these specs?
It seems to be about twice the power, and 50% more weight which is heavy, but I can't imagine they go $799, based on the current X1X price. A lot of people would all go PC at that price.
Was looking forward to playing it on our 2 PCs, 1 for each kid, but if X1X is having problems running it that doesn't bode well for our machines. Our best graphics card is a GT 1030, the older one is a 740. Maybe if we put all settings on low.
I'll get back to ya after the kids wake up.
So my son was able to play this, even though his Gamepass subscription ended March 7th.
MS seems to have issues with this whole computer thing.
Game lagged a bit on our GT 1030 and after a couple of hours the screen just went black. But that may be b/c our internet is constantly going out for some reason for anything MS related. It's an IP4 IP6 thing, been trying to fix it for 6 months.
@NEStalgia "And @rjejr is here. The world really is ending....."
I was going to say the same about you. You're here for 1 post and you're already going off topic about the world ending. You're gonna make us the first 2 people banned from the site.
Oh well, at least we'll get to make the acquaintance of whoever's in charge of keeping law & order around here right quick.
I'll give you guys this, you got some great bolshy yarblockoes to be restarting up an Xbox site the week E3 got canceled. Kinda nuts.
While I think XSX may do ok, I think MS is going all in on Gamepass and Xcloud so I hope you'll be covering that as well, and not just purely Xbox. We don't have an Xbox but both of my kids have Gamepass Ultimate accounts on PC, looking forward to Ori 2. Which I'm expecting a review of to be 1 off your first articles.
Good luck guys. Hopefully Gamestack doesn't get canceled next week so you have something to write about. You're a brave bunch.
I think every new Xbox has to come w/ Kinect to the point where I was wondering the other day what to call it - i.e. KinectBox, XboxKinect1080. As long as they don't call it Xbox720. Too bad they can't drop Xbox entirely but they seem to be invested w/ the movies and music stuff. But yeah, Kinect in every box, and Voice commands and motion controls for everything.

Re: Reaction: Xbox Is Making Next-Gen Gaming More Accessible Than Ever
Re: Xbox Series X Packaging Surfaces Via Canadian Retailer
Really nice. I like the unnecessary green line around the bottom that matches the green Series X underline. Somebody earned their paycheck. Really everyone at Xbox did this week. Well except whoever leaked that Series S info, they probably deservedly got canned.
If they make the Series S box white like the controller that will make shopping in stores a whole lot easier, you'll see on shelf stock long before you get there. That box might be twice as big as the Series S box as well, showing just how small the S is. Win-win.
Re: Xbox Game Pass For PC Retires Its Introductory Price Next Week
Re: Microsoft Shares A More In-Depth Look At The Xbox Series S
Nintendo made a similar mistake w/ Wii U, some people actually thought the Wii U was just the Gamepad to play on the Wii.
https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/284664
Re: Microsoft Shares A More In-Depth Look At The Xbox Series S
@carlos82 So, for every Series S article are we going to get to read that Series S is so much faster than X1S but mostly the same as X1X but really faster b/c Jaguar? B/c that will certainly make every article fun to read. Also, see next reply.
@KelticDevil Clear as mud.
@TheNewButler Sorry buddy, but I always stop reading at "buddy" with people I don't know.
@BlueOcean "so Series S is basically like Series X but without native 4K, without a disc drive and with half of the storage capacity."
So a Series S is like a Series X the same way a Switch is like a Series X b/c a Switch can't do 4k, doesn't have a disc drive, and has much less storage capacity, but it does play video games on my TV. π
Re: Microsoft Shares A More In-Depth Look At The Xbox Series S
I mean yeah I can follow, but I don't know if the people writing all of these articles are capable of not making typos. π
Re: Xbox All Access Will Cost You $34.99 / Β£28.99 A Month With A Series X Console
Re: The Xbox Series X Launches November 10th For Β£449 / $499
Re: PokΓ©mon-Like MMO Temtem Arrives On Xbox Series X In 2021
@blinx01 "but they can't FORCE 3rd paty developers to follow suit."
Re: PokΓ©mon-Like MMO Temtem Arrives On Xbox Series X In 2021
@mousieone "when clearly they arenβt forcing third party publishers to follow suit"
Guess you're right, if everyone knows it only applies to first part games, if that, we'll have to wait and see, then no point rehashing it every article I suppose.
Re: PokΓ©mon-Like MMO Temtem Arrives On Xbox Series X In 2021
@Liam_Doolan Any thoughts on the elephant in the room, Microsoft's big proclamation of no exclusives on XseS for 2 years b/c it wouldn't be fair to gamers. You know, like they say Sony is doing?
I know technically they said 1st party, but they made such a big deal out "everybody gets to play every game" that they sort of put you guys on the spot covering any games ONLY coming to XseX and not X1 for the next 2 years.
https://www.theverge.com/2020/7/23/21335984/microsoft-xbox-series-x-exclusive-next-gen-promise
Normally I wouldn't bother you over here but it's not like there's a lot going on in the comments section yet anyway.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM
@BlueOcean Seems like you already have a discussion going w/ Pretendworking and I didn't want to distract you from it. Apologies if it read more ominous than that.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM
@BlueOcean It's fine. And besides, it seems like you have your hands filled elsewhere, good luck.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM
@BlueOcean "I don't mind you asking me and getting into a conversation but I didn't say what you said I did twice in a row"
I think we should leave it there, b/c neither of us is likely to write a better sentence than that to end this conversation with.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM
@BlueOcean Good question, I'm glad you asked.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM

Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM
Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM
@BlueOcean "The Xbox brand is at its best now since the 360 days."
Does that mean Microsoft is giving sales numbers, b/c if it's doing so well they should be reporting it.
OK that reads sarcastic but I'm honestly curious. Google gave me this but nothing from MS itself.

Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM
@BlueOcean Did they expect to sell many Xbox 1 in any year? π
@experTiger Xbox Sex
hmmm, maybe I underestimated Microsoft and that was their plan all along? Now I'm genuinely curious.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM
@BlueOcean Won't it still be about 5 months before the Series drops? Are they just going to sell the S until then? Probably makes the most sense I suppose.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM
@BlueOcean Thanks. I went to MS website and could only find the price for the S. The X1X and SAD are out of stock. I did try.
https://www.xbox.com/en-US/consoles/all-consoles
I just tried another MS site and found these so I'll go fix my previous post. The SAD is $249 and the S $299 so the only 1 that's wrong is the $599 X1X which is $399. Which still leaves the matter of how many Xboxen need to be on shelves at what prices?
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/collections/xboxconsoles?&ef_id=Cj0KCQjwudb3BRC9ARIsAEa-vUv0_Qo93EkLk5KkgChdQyAkZbP8qTekr_rjXaq7vYJwkU0NKq3iiJUaAuR-EALw_wcB:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!4249!3!271636150750!e!!g!!xbox%20console&ef_id=Cj0KCQjwudb3BRC9ARIsAEa-vUv0_Qo93EkLk5KkgChdQyAkZbP8qTekr_rjXaq7vYJwkU0NKq3iiJUaAuR-EALw_wcB:G:s&OCID=AID2000014_SEM_Cj0KCQjwudb3BRC9ARIsAEa-vUv0_Qo93EkLk5KkgChdQyAkZbP8qTekr_rjXaq7vYJwkU0NKq3iiJUaAuR-EALw_wcB:G:s
Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM
Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM
@experTiger
I thought Lockhart would be
Xbox Series X SAD
since they are going cheap they'd drop the drive, basically making it for people who just want Gamepass. No wait, no S, so
Xbox Series X AD
Maybe they'll name the other 1 for backwards compatibility
Xbox Series X BC

Re: Rumour: Xbox Lockhart Performance Profile Includes 4TF GPU, 7.5GB Usable RAM
Re: The Xbox Console Companion App For Windows 10 Is Being Replaced
@FraserG Thanks. For the record we did have an Xbox 1 and traded it in for a Switch so we set up all of our Xbox accounts on there but continued to play games on PC w/ Gamepass b/c we could. So we did get use of the Companion app seeing all of our Xbox info on P. But once we traded it in the Xbox beta for playing games seemed to be all we needed. I probably made things more complicated for my kids and I by doing it that way though. But it works.
Re: The Xbox Console Companion App For Windows 10 Is Being Replaced
Is this the app that always seems to be in beta to play Gamepass games on PC? We don't have an Xbox so we only use Gamepass on PC and while it's great the app always seems to be a little off in one way or another. Will have to check this out.
Re: Indie Developer To Reveal 4K, 120FPS Xbox Series X Exclusive Next Week
So, does this game break Microsoft's declaration of "NO XSX EXCLUSIVES FIRST YEAR" or is it not coming out until 2022?
Re: Xbox Series X Full Tech Specs Are Revealed, And They're Seriously Impressive
Re: The New Ori Game Is Great, But It's Having Performance Issues
Maybe I'll check the forums.

Oh, and speaking of canceled, you should add Scalebound to the canceled page, it's practically the Xbox 1's legacy.

Re: Next Xbox Codename Uncovered
I think every new Xbox has to come w/ Kinect to the point where I was wondering the other day what to call it - i.e. KinectBox, XboxKinect1080. As long as they don't call it Xbox720. Too bad they can't drop Xbox entirely but they seem to be invested w/ the movies and music stuff. But yeah, Kinect in every box, and Voice commands and motion controls for everything.
