I’m still playing Mass Effect: Andromeda.

BioWare needs to nail this game. It’s that simple.

After Andromeda (which I do like, btw) & Anthem......this needs to kick a$$.

I am a gigantic fan of the studio, but EA has a habit of shutting down studios if they don’t make them $.

Like I have always said.......release the game when it’s done. That simple.

That said.....if Halo comes out in the spring, they would still have lots of games coming in 2021. There is maybe a new Forza Horizon game & maybe Starfield. Plus all the “indie” games they have, like The Medium, Scorn, etc.

I agree! Mass Effect never needed multiplayer. I did really enjoy it on ME3, but I’m probably not going to touch it with Andromeda.

EA just needs to let BioWare make the best Dragon Age & Mass Effect that they can. Single player only.

Btw.....it is very weird playing Andromeda right now knowing that EA & BioWare aren’t going to take it any further. It has lots of potential & I would have loved to get DLC or sequels.

For once, we completely agree. I also rarely use “Instant-On”, but I just used it last night to download all of the Rare Replay games, Killer Instinct, & Sea Of Thieves.

But like you said, going into the settings just to do it is clunky.

I couldn’t care less about Fortnite, but it’s cool to see all of the big 3 get into this.

I had Anthem at launch (yes, I was one of the suckers) & the game wasn’t “broken” really. It just wasn’t very good & didn’t deliver on the promises made.

I am, literally, playing ME: Andromeda right now & have been for 102 hours, so far. It’s a cool game, but nowhere near as good as the original trilogy.

BioWare used to be one of my favorite developers. To see them slipping really sucks. Hopefully, the next Dragon Age game is great & can turn them around! 🤞

I LOVED NHL ‘94! It is one of my favorite sports games of all time.

I remember playing this on my Genesis & checking my buddy’s guys into injury. Lol.

Such an amazing game.

I am about to play through Rare Replay & Sea Of Thieves. I’m glad to hear that SoT has turned out to be a great game & a big hit.

As others have said.....they aren’t going to put tons of JRPGs on the service at once. That would be ridiculous. And how has Microsoft been “untrustworthy” when it comes to Game Pass? 🙄

It could be a big partnership with Sega to get all their games on Game Pass, similar to their deal with EA Play.

And that would be huge.

And I don’t have a PS5 or want one, but I’ve heard the controller is great for some games & not so great with others.

And it’ll come down to if 3rd party developers actually utilize it anyways. If not, it’s just another PlayStation gimmick, similar to Sixaxis & that Light Bar.

My next phone will probably not be an iPhone just for this reason. And I haven’t bought much stuff to get locked into their ecosystem anyways.

I do like mg phone, but like you said, Apple is do restricting that it is annoying.

Don’t get me wrong......I agree that the market leader has clearly shown, in the past, the sheer arrogance to do things that are just plain stupid.

Microsoft did it with the Xbox One. And Sony did it with the PS3. Nintendo did it with the N64 & the Wii U.

But with a new generation, we get a refresh. And so far, under Jim Ryan (who just reminds me of Don Mattrick), Sony looks like they are getting arrogant again.

As Xbox fans, it has almost helped us that Microsoft has had to win back their 360 fanbase, so we get them trying to earn our money. Sony comes off as they are giving you the “privilege” to give them your $. I guess we’ll see how it all plays out.

@ThanosReXXX’s point is not wrong. Just because Sony would rather $ gouge their fanbase by making them pay $ to play their older games doesn’t make it right.

And just because it hasn’t come back to bite them yet, that doesn’t mean it won’t in the future. It’s a new generation & anything can happen.

I have seen many people on this website say they bought an XSX/S specifically for backwards compatibility & Game Pass. And Game Pass having tons of backwards compatible games is part of what makes it a great value.

In fact, even EA Play is much better on Xbox because of backwards compatibility with the 360 era of the games on that service. On PlayStation, EA Play it’s way different because they can’t get PS3 games to run on a PS5. 🙄

But to each their own. If you like paying for your games over & over again, I’m sure Sony & Nintendo would love to take your money. Lol.

Microsoft should just buy Remedy already. That would instantly solve any problem of their games being on Game Pass or not.

And they clearly need $ if the worked with 505 Games to publish Control.

Activi$ion made Bungie pull this same kind of ?!$& with Destiny, as well. It wasn’t until people figured out the XP nonsense that they stopped it. And the last time I played that game (Forsaken expansion), it was still too grindy.

Yea not sure why this was removed. But look at how badly they screwed up the Xbox app for......reasons? This kind of stuff makes no sense.

It comes down to the different philosophies of these companies.

Sony’s buffoon of a CEO Jim Ryan says “nobody plays old games”, but he’ll sure love to take your $ for a remaster of a PS3 game on PS5 (Demon’s Souls).

And they’ll sell you a PS2 game on their store, but not let you put your old disc in the console & just let it work. 🙄

And their fanbase will defend that stupid decision for them. 😂 It’s just Sony being Sony.

Sony moneyhatting things is just Sony being Sony.

And their fanbase throws a hissy fit every time Microsoft buys a studio, but they are cool with paying for timed exclusives & paying $ to keep content within games off of other systems. 🙄 lol.

But like you said, we can vote with our wallets. And I just won’t give games any of my $ that Sony pulls that stuff with. And apparently, I am not the only one. The Avengers tanking in sales is a good example.

That last mission was a huge pain even before this issue.
