Massive Indy fan here (well the first 3 films anyway) and that did not disappoint, seemed to nail the vibe of Indy. Was surprised they went 1st person, but with the cut scenes & climbing showing the character, it’s a good balance I feel. Cannot wait, but suppose Ill have to!

Fair enough, but some of the reports do show that MS were in the top contributors in 2021-2022 for at least four of these members and that's not including Maria Cantwell who apparently received half a million dollars from MS in the past 10 years. I'm not saying that Sony doesn't do the same thing either, but it would be to say this doesn't have any bearing on the current proceedings.
@Jenkinss It wasn't a post it was an article, and posted elsewhere online/twitter etc. Even ignoring the timing and how much MS have contributed to these members of congress (out of the goodness of their heart I presume?), I think it's a little naïve to say they are just representing their constituents. It's not like they are a poor defenceless little homeowner with a grievance and no money. As I said I think both these companies are as bad as each other & just need to stop the toxicity which is just fuelling the fanboys on both sides and they need work with, not against each other. One day maybe.
While there may be some cause for investigation here, it's interesting to note some important facts that are not mentioned in this article that was on Push Square and elsewhere.
Apparently, 6 of the 11 of those members of congress are from Microsoft's home state and for at least 4 of them MS are one of their top 'contributors'. Make of that what you will.
Also not sure why Nintendo is being overlooked like others have said (well I could probably guess). None of them are saints, and I love gaming on all systems but MS and Sony are acting like kids in a playground.
@JayJ Well, it's different strokes for different folks. Absolutely love the simplicity of the gameplay loop and I've been addicted to this for about 3 weeks now on my PC, so will definitely be downloading on my Xbox. I do find it's a huge time vacuum though!
Was quite hyped for Scorn after such a long development period until recent previews and after finally trying it. I’m pretty disappointed as I really love Giger and the horror genre, but my god the game is just so tedious and slow. Nothing wrong with the general aesthetic but disagree that it looks really next gen. Most of the visuals are down to the style rather than technical aspect. To me it looks quite flat and dull, same as the gameplay. I’m glad some people are enjoying it but I feel it could have been so much more exciting. Well, thank goodness for GamePass!
Definite highlight of the showcase for me, looking and sounding absolutely superb. There are others I'm looking forward to but the majority of the other games were pretty dull for me. Glad they are on GP so I can try them and prove me wrong though! Fortunate to own a PS5 as well as an X and disagree that GT7 doesn't look 'nextgen' (it certainly feels it with haptics), but this is definitely upping the game!

@sd7232 Not to make light of your own, but I think there will be bigger questions asked by other parties!

Re: Random: The New 'Oreo Xbox Series S' Looks Absolutely Crazy In Person
@themightyant
Indeed they do, it's clearly a Series S stuck in a cheap plastic Oreo stand. It's taking the biscuit I tell you!

Re: Microsoft Renews Trademarks For Rare IP Viva Piñata & Blast Corps
Blast Corps was one of my favourite N64 games, would love to see a modern version.
