Love this service and so happy it came to Xbox. I'm picky about the games I play and I found at least a dozen in Antstream that I added to my favorites. The challenges are fun, and the servers keep track of your high scores and such. Glad to hear an update is coming that will hopefully make it a bit more intuitive for Xbox.
I got the annual subscription but thinking of upgrading to lifetime if that's possible. It's a better value than a lot of EA and 2K games at the same price, lol.
We have the Logitech G Cloud. It's good enough via remote for my wife to play Sims 4 on it, but I tried playing PGA TOUR 2K on it and the lag was horrible. I can't imagine doing any serious gaming on it, and if it lags like this in remote mode I can't imagine cloud on the go is much better.
Xbox already conceded the console wars to Sony, so throwing more money into direct competition with them to keep up doesn't make sense. They need better and more stable games. I still have moments where I sigh and remember that it's Microsoft (some of us still remember the good old Windows PC days). Nintendo doesn't seem to have these moments, even though I'm hoping for a Switch refresh.
So this is better than the Rory Mcllroy version right? I played that and wanted to toss my controller out the window. I will say the graphics on this look way better than 2k23, but I've been enjoying 2k23. There's lots of difficulty adjustment options, and the career mode is simple but straightforward.
Maybe I'll wait until the EA version gets a sale and try it out. By then I'll probably be done with 2k23.
What does everyone think of PGA Tour 2k23 so far? I like the gameplay and the fact that you can customize the difficulty in various ways. I'm not too crazy about the club fittings system, I preferred the old system where the actual branded clubs had their own attributes. The graphics, however need a lot of work (even on a series S my golfer looks creepy), so that's one thing this EA sports release can improve on. I remember in the old Rory Mcllroy game actually feeling like I was stuck in the weeds or the sand traps, and that game was from 2015.
I'll definitely try this new release. It looks gorgeous and if they can improve the gameplay and difficulty settings from the old Rory Mallory release then I'll be happy. I just remember the old version being hard to play.

That's why god invented the Switch, lol
