Halo Infinite recently added a new variation of Firefight into its multiplayer mix — dubbed Firefight: King of the Hill — and the new mode has just received five new maps as part of a playlist refresh.
Existing Halo Infinite maps Breaker, Cliffhanger, Fragmentation, Highpower and Scarr are now live and playable within Halo Infinite Firefight - hugely expanding the co-op mode's map list.
343 says that these new arenas will "spice up the encounters" and "bring variety to the playlist" as the team continues to build on Halo Infinite's multiplayer suite. The team may have 'ditched' seasons recently, but we're still getting plenty of updates for the 2021 shooter!

KOTH....ridiculous. 343 isn't capable of doing a proper arcade FF like we had in Reach. They couldn't even copy Reach's playlist to MCC correctly and just expected everyone to play garbage like Plasmafight instead of straight 'ArcadeFight' like 99% of players voted for on 360 back in the day. H5 firefight was beyond terrible. The right way to do it would've been adding Halo 4's saved loadouts to it do people don't have to blow themselves up to get the exact loadout they want anymore.
Why is it so hard for these ***** companies to understand what's actually fun to play anymore? Just like Gears 4 and 5 ruined horde compared to 3. Epic gave us the option of infinite ammo, super bullets/melee, etc along with an arcade campaign mode. Coalition is obsessed with "balance," ammo starvation, and keeping people from speedrunning it. Newsflash: Half the players hate the ***** robots and would prefer to turn them off and just shoot grubs.
@NoLifeDGenerate I think we'll start to see companies listening to gamers feedback a lot more during the development process as with Baldurs Gate 3. Not necessarily with an early access model but maybe simple polls to find out what is popular among fans of a franchise. There is simply too much competition nowadays for them to ignore us.
Sweet yes give me more!
@TJ81 with all the social media platforms and how easy it is to communicate , it’s crazy to me why devs/teams never just talk to their fans . it seems like it’s always done through a podcast with scripted interviews . they could even just make polls of “what do you want to see in the next game” and “what don’t you want to see”
maybe sequels would be better than predecessors ALL the time then
