It's also been rumoured that Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time and Heroes of the Storm will be added to Xbox Game Pass in February for console and/or PC, but this has yet to be confirmed by Microsoft.
Don't forget we'll be losing two batches of Xbox Game Pass titles in February 2025 as well. The first of these contains seven games and left in early February, while the second includes nine games and will leave in late February.

Shall be playing FC new dawn with the new game 60fps patch and hopefully 4K.
And of course Avowed as I have convinced my little brain that it will be 60fps in SX.
Avowed looks and sounds absolutely amazing. I can't wait. I reckon it's going to do a lot better than most people give it credit for.

I’m looking forward to trying Avowed, even if I remain a skeptic toward it. It’s Obsidian, so I’m aware my gut take on its visuals may be wrong, as I was on the Outer Worlds before I played it. As of right now, that looks to be my first Gamepass game this year.
And if I’ve learned anything about Xbox games the last year, it’s that I’ll try them and assess them regardless of the reviews, as Stalker 2, for as poorly as it reviewed (and even if I wouldn’t have reviewed it much better), was one of the more memorable games of the last year. An ambitious but flawed 5/10 is far more interesting to me than a completely sturdy 7/10. I’m more likely to talk about something that does things, even if it doesn’t work. I have a feeling that Avowed likely won’t be a 7/10 game that plays it safe. Obsidian doesn’t seem to do that.
I'll definitely try Avowed, because why not? I have Game Pass Ultimate.

Exactly my thoughts. They're one of Xbox's best studios imo. Can you imagine if all Xbox studios (or most of them) were churning games out like Obsidian. I love how diverse they are with their projects.
@Isolte I imagine mods will come seeing how they seem to be the flavour of the month for games like this - but I'm only 50/50 on that. I suppose it matters what the reception is vs what the devs wanna do.
Avowed is the only one I’m interested in.
Game pass used to get quite a few excellent indie games. Now it seems like it’s mostly older high budget games.
Of course, avowed more than pays for the service for me. And citizen sleeper pays for January.
@Kaloudz Their marketing team doesn’t sell their games to me. In fact, they make me concerned. But darn is their developer pedigree fantastic.
The February games will be the best of the year by my reckoning… Avowed is coming across as an underrated GOTY contender … should be Starfield hype for this game but just most people just hoping for the best reaction…strange
I'll be trying Avowed but only after I've finished the rather excellent Indiana Jones
@OldGamer999 it's been confirmed avowed will have a 60fps option on Xbox Series X! When I saw this news I was pretty stoked, Avowed is already one of my most anticipated games of 2025. I love Obsidian and the work they do delivering excellent RPGs

Not sure about Avowed yet.
I just didn't get hooked by Outer Worlds.
But maybe this one will.
Looking forward to playing the crash game never played that one and hopefully avowed will be worth a go aswell!
I would actually play heroes of storm on console. Its way more casual than league/dota so should be doable

Man I hope I beat Indy and NG2 before avowed lunches.
And people complain about “xbox has no games”.

The problem with all these games Microsoft have forgot to tell anyone about the Xbox console, game pass and all these great games.
I will stand by my statements in Jan 2025, Xbox really could take it PS this year and next had they not gone done the route they now have taken.
@somnambulance That's actually a very fair statement. I have to wonder though, is the advertising down to MS limitations, because if there's one thing MS doesn't like to do, it's throw an advert out lol.
@Kaloudz Obsidian was the same with marketing before Xbox, so I can’t blame Xbox on this one. This is an Obsidian thing, but they do so many other things so well that I’ll forgive them.
@somnambulance Oh see, I don't remember paying them much attention before being acquired, so I wouldn't know, but yeah I agree, they get so much right (I mean just the release rhythm alone) it's easy to forgive.
Curious, given the short length of the month. @FraserG will we hear about the latter half of Feb's Game Pass games tomorrow? Or will that be next week?
More then likely will give Avowed a try at least once I am finished with Indy.
@Millionski Would be nice to get HotS on console but that doubt it will happen. As it is the game is in maintenance mode on PC.
@OldGamer999 it was confirmed by Obsidian themselves. Avowed will feature a 30fps quality mode, a 60fps performance mode, and for those playing on 120Hz TV's the game will feature a 40fps balanced mode. I can't wait for Avowed!
