Update []: EA Sports UFC 3 has now been confirmed to be leaving on the same date as all the others - February 15th. We've updated the table below with the latest information.
Original Story: Microsoft has today pulled back the curtain on the next seven games that are set to leave Xbox Game Pass in early February 2025, which includes the likes of Tales of Arise, EA Sports UFC 3 and a whole bunch of great indie titles.
At least six of these will be removed from Xbox Game Pass on the 15th of February, while EA Sports UFC 3 isn't actually dated as of yet due to being part of EA Play - it could end up leaving on an entirely different date.
Here the full list of what's leaving Xbox Game Pass in early February 2025:
Date | Game | Platform |
---|---|---|
February 15 | A Little to the Left | Console, PC, Cloud |
February 15 | Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night | Console, PC, Cloud |
February 15 | EA Sports UFC 3 (EA Play) | Console |
February 15 | Indivisible | Console, PC, Cloud |
February 15 | Merge & Blade | Console, PC, Cloud |
February 15 | Return to Grace | Console, PC, Cloud |
February 15 | Tales of Arise | Console, PC, Cloud |
As usual, you'll be able to buy these games with a discount of at least 20% until they depart Xbox Game Pass, but some of them actually benefit from even bigger discounts as part of the various Xbox sales that are ongoing right now.
In terms of what's coming soon to Xbox Game Pass in February 2025, we only have two confirmations so far in Far Cry New Dawn and Avowed, but we're expecting many more titles to be announced over the coming days and weeks.

Nothing lasts forever.. Dim dim dim...
I guess besides Tales of Arise, there's nothing to really miss.
@Nintendo4Sonic I love RPGs and gave Tales of Arise a shot. That was one of the most boring games I'd ever tried. I know it's a popular series, but I just couldn't continue.
I recommend both Bloodstained and Indivisible.
The story of Return to Grace was great … one of few games I 100% last year … Merge and Blade was boring the first time I played it but grew on me…
@FarmDog08 I played just a little bit of Takes of Arise on PS5. It looked great, but I was also not that hooked about it.
I think JRPGs are often overrated.
@Nintendo4Sonic I'm picky about my JRPGs. I did not like Persona 5 at all, but I love Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. Turn-based are my favorite kind. Claire Obscure: Expedition 33 is my #1 anticipated game this year.
A Litte to the Left is an excellent little puzzle game. Well worth a couple of hours of your time. I ended up buying it and the DLC.
Strongly recommend Return to Grace before it leaves Game Pass, it's a short enough puzzle / walking sim game with a really interesting sci fi story and actually quite emotional / thought provoking in many places.
A Little to the Left is another fun little puzzle game with each often taking seconds / minutes, great for bite size gaming - I didn't manage to finish it so may end up buying...
Need to get on Tales of Arise before it goes but suspect it's quite long!
Bloodstained is so much fun
I beat tales of Arise because it's also leaving PlayStation plus this month. The last few hours were an absolute slog but up until that point it was a fun, if generic, experience and story. I don't regret going through it, probably one of the better tales game though Berseria and Symphonia are still my faves.
@Widey85
I clocked in at around 40 something-ish hours. I did a majority of the side quests but by the end I just wanted it to be over. Might be tough to get it done in the time left. I really wish Microsoft gave us at least a month warning in advance like PlayStation does.
Echoing others, enjoyed Tales of Arise for a while but after 30 hours it just became a slog so gave it up with the intention of returning to it. Never did and don't really feel the need to now it's leaving, which says it all.
It's just not the same without a big world map to run around on. Doesn't feel like an 'epic' journey.
A bit annoyed that I couldn't get round to Tales of Arise, but Tbh I have SO MANY jrpg's I still have to play. I've only just started xenoblade C 2 on Switch.
Yeah, I'm somewhat behind. 😬
Are there any predictions yet of the games departing in the second half of February? I always appreciate those articles, since it gives you a bit more time to finish a game.
@Widey85 I really enjoyed Return to Grace as well and I hope some people will give it a chance before it leaves. It's a very pretty walking sim with a thoughtful and engaging story. The puzzles were entertaining if not exactly challenging and a playthrough only takes a few hours. I found it to be a great palate cleanser between bigger games.
@Darude84 Yes! It's linked in the "Related Articles" section at the bottom of this specific article.
