@OldManLopan off course you can be added! (You are now in the list for next month). I also added your votes to Sunset Overdrive and Quake 2. Cannot add a vote to Ryse Son of Rome as it has been played before and it is one of the rules that we don't choose games to replay. You can check all games played in the first post. Cheers
Well well well it looks like we ended up with a three way tie... When there were two I was going to suggest an exception and add both as December's game club entries but now I feel is a little bit too messy.
@ralphdibny do you want the honor of choosing which game from Jusant, Dead Space Remake and Sunset Overdrive we are nominating?
@Balta666 I'm honoured to be asked but it's too hard! Thankfully R1Spam has thrown in a vote for deadspace remake which probably makes that the winner?
Before I was relieved of my duty, my thought process involved dead space being tempting as a pro but having played the original as part of this club being a con. Sunset overdrive probably would have been a guaranteed good time I think. And jusant? I know nothing about it but I'm guessing it will be one of those half decent left wing choices this club is known for. So to summarise, 3 good choices and I'm glad I don't have to decide in this instance!
@ralphdibny@Balta666 ooft I've totally missed that A) this was at dead lock, B) that dead space was already a game club game, C) you asked Ralph to break the deadlock. Take my last vote out for dead space remake 🙈
@R1spam I agree with @ralphdibny that your votes counts. I would argue that the Remake makes it quite a different game in many ways (like a talking protagonist) reason why I left the votes for it from the start.
On the fierce battle of the 30th of November, it raised victorious Dead Space Remake!!! (some would say there could be seen limbs flying everywhere ).
As the name implies this is a new version of an old classic of 2008 with some quality of life improvements, an talking protagonist on top of a few other changes. Both opinions of newcomers to the series and veterans that replayed the original to death are welcomed!

@Balta666 Cheers mate. Looking forward to playing the Dead Space remake, probably after Chained Echoes which is leaving Game Pass on the 15th. I'll probably go for a Plasma Cutter only run, as I had such fun with that in the original. A veritable necromorph surgeon sniper!
I'll save my votes for January for now, but i'll probably need the reminder!
Very good! Can't wait to test it out tonight even if I had a bunch of horror games I played all October and I promised myself I'd take a break 😅
@HelloCraig I watch the channel all the time, great work my dude. Maybe you can do videos at the beginning of each month highlighting the game for the club? Do a short play session, talk about it, etc. It might pull people to the website who don't view it, or pull people from here to the channel. Just a thought I had, could be cool. Keep up the great work over there.
Dead Space is one of my favorite games of all time. I don't know how many times I've beaten it. I have 1000G in both the Xbox 360 version and the remake. And I have played the original a lot on PC as well... I'm just obsessed with Dead Space and Dead Space 2 (we don't talk about Dead Space 3, though...)
@Balta666 great stuff, thanks again for organising!! Can't wait to explore more of the Ishimura with everyone. I'm gonna wait for my vote for January, you never know, we might get a crazy gamepass drop at the game awards!
I literally finished the remake of Dead Space just a few weeks ago lol. Absolutely phenomenal game, it's my favourite horror game of all time. The remake improved upon the original in every way, it was simply pure bliss playing through this game. Hope everyone else will enjoy it as well!
Played about 45 min tonight. So far so good. The map is a little odd though. Can't seem to pull it up In a normal view unfortunately. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Other than that, atmosphere is great, enemies are pretty spooky. Full disclosure, I play horror games on easy/story when available. I'm too much a chicken to do otherwise. I like having more health and ample ammunition in horror games 😅
@NintendoByNature I can recommend increasing the difficulty to Medium. The game gives you way too much ammo and health items on Easy. It still gives you plenty of ammo and health items on Medium but it's a much more enjoyable experience since it scales it down a notch.
I played the original on Easy and the remake on Medium and I had much more fun on Medium. It's just so satisfying whenever you find ammo/health items when you absolutely need them rather than constantly being stocked up. Even if you would run out of ammo/health items, you can always buy more at the store. Exploration is very important in this game as it's always worth going off the beaten path. Also, don't be afraid to use your stasis whenever you can. There are tons of places to recharge it and it's better to use it than risk taking damage.
Another tip is to not use your nodes every time you find a new weapon. It's better to focus on upgrading your Plasma Cutter and then test each weapon you come across to see which one you like. That's actually one of the major improvements of the remake, i.e. the game now gives you all the weapons for free rather than forcing you to buy them. At least this way you can test them first instead of risking buying something you might not like.
