Started up AEW Fight Forever and I am having a blast. It's everything I expected in what they advertised. It does remind me alot of the older WWE games.

Just started Watch_Dogs 2 the other day cause I felt like playing an urban open world game but got bored of GTAV, and I gotta say, it's good.
I usually don't really like Ubi copy/paste open worlds, but this game definitely has some of the best systems in any game of its ilk, and I'm having way more fun with it than with the overrated GTAV.
Edit: oh and it plays great on Series X due to FPS Boost, which makes is way smoother to play.
The only downside is that the resolution gets quite low and blurry since this game never got a One X patch, but overall I'm enjoying it.
@Tasuki
Completely agree on the fun aspect of AEW: Fight Forever. I've been playing it since Thursday and have put in enough time now to say I really like what's there. It's not perfect, graphics are a little rough (though I don't think as bad as some have said) and I wish career mode were a little bit different but still, there's a good amount of content for single player, decent variety in match types that can be added to in future updates and a strong starting roster with more wrestlers on the way. Gameplay wise, love it, reminds me of those great N64 WCW and WWF releases just better paced and a little less clunky.
@Gamer83 I am having some family and friends over for a Barbecue tomorrow for the fourth, I figure I put AEW to the test and see if it captures that old N64 WWE feeling. Some of the people coming over tomorrow we use to spend hours playing those old WWE, WCW games on the N64 back in the day.
Yeah it's not perfect but as I said before they put out a product that was exactly what they said. It wasn't like they tried to make something like WWE 2k and ended up with this after advertising it as comparable to WWE 2k

Sounds like a fun experiment. Let me know how it goes. Yeah, I'm happy the product was as advertised and not a WWE 2K clone. Tired of that formula a long time ago, partly because I tired of WWE as a product in general.
@Gamer83 I know exactly what you mean. I think I stopped watching WWE like in 2015 or so a few years before AEW came out. Then I was watch NJPW to get my wrestling fix. I still follow WWE main cause I see it on my social media feeds but I still shake my head at their decisions.

Got Street fighter 6 with a chunk of reward points . Enjoying it so far. Was saving em for Forza 8, but due to always online shenanigans will play that on GP. I am crap at online at fighters but if any of you guys play it giz a shout.
I'm playing through Ghostwire Tokyo and enjoying my experience with it. I'm trying to complete as much as I can on collectables and side quests so it is taking way longer than if I was just sticking to the main story.
@NintendoByNature was it anyversary edition? It is definitely a product of its time but I enjoyed it a fair bit. For me the second aged the worst as it runs terrible on series systems (bad frame rate and terrible motion blur)
@Balta666 it was the anniversary. I played about 2 hrs, got to a point where i couldn't progress the story, go to a previous save, or fast travel. So I would've had to trek back to guild or other location. It kind of annoyed me so I put it down for a while. Might come back at some point, not sure.
@Tasuki
Creative over there definitely is a mixed bag. Around 2011 I had started to enjoy WWE again for the first time in a long while, then it just became garbage again over the few years after that and I stopped watching around 2014. Don't watch AEW all the time either, mostly because of my work schedule, but I do find it far more interesting than anything else out there and tune in whenever I get the chance. Have never watched NJPW but always heard good things about it.
@Gamer83 So, yesterday I introduced some friends and family to Fight Forever and it was a blast, it was like we were playing the old N64 wrestling games. A few of my friends don't play games to much anymore, but they were able to pick up and play the game and enjoy the time with it. We did a few Casino Battle Royal matches and a few Tag matches as well and had a blast. Definitely was like old times again. To top off a the night we ended up switching over to GoldenEye for a bit of that!!

Cool. I haven't had too many multiplayer gaming sessions since Halo 2 when I was in college but glad you and your friends enjoyed playing AEW together. I thought in single player it did bring back the spirit of the old N64 games but yeah, the real test for it long term is how the multiplayer aspect will be viewed. From what I can tell so far, it seems positive, fun factor is definitely there.
@Gamer83 Yeah I don't get many multiplayer opportunities either, mainly holidays it seems when I have friends and family over. Yeah definitely the fun factor was there and as I said alot of them don't game much anymore but they did enjoy their time with it.
Fight Forever isn't going to change the world of wrestling games but it definitely gives you that old school wrestling game feeling that WWE games seem to have forgotten.

Hey, can someone please help me out ASAP? Is CoD WW2 frequently discounted on the US Xbox store, or not really? Now it is at $20, but I don't know if it is safe to let the opportunity pass by or not. Thx
