Yeah we watched it in 3D on Sky at the weekend and enjoyed it enormously. That bit was very sad... although I did have an inkling that what followed was going to happen what with it being a Disney film and all lol.
Mad Max was quite good. All the vehicle sections were fantastic and the score was brilliant. The mid section of the film was a bit of a let down when compared to all the chase scenes. The noise from the cars and explosions was immense, a true cinema experience or one for a great home cinema system and very understanding neighbours!!
Lol I used to work in Botswana and flew in/out via South Africa. I saw the original mad max there and they cut out all the violent scenes (made for a v.short movie). πππ
Just read the sad news about Christopher Lee's passing. Those of us of a certain age will remember him well from the Hammer Horror films in the 70's whilst younger peeps should know him from Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. Kind of thought he'd just keep on going but he certainly had a good innings at 93! RIP Christopher.
Yeah he made a terrific vampire and a fine Bond villain in The Man with a Golden Gun too. He was really tall and as you say he had a very deep and distinctive voice although he never spoke much in the Dracula films!
Got thrown out of a cinema way back when, during a Dracula movie, leant over and nipped my GF on the neck. You could have heard the screams 100 miles away. We had to leave ππππ
