More of a PlayStation fan, but I'm also happily subscribed to game pass and must say, XB has a good point. I don't need AAA day 1… brand new indie games like stray on a monthly basis would make extra a lot more attractive though. I find titles under 10 hours perfect for a subscription service, rather then games that require a massive time commitment.
Alien Isolation is the best thing that happened to the franchise since Aliens and I'm still hoping for a sequel. At least we're getting Routine on game pass which looks heavily inspired by isolation.
Played each Kiryu Yakuza, and loved all for their story. Also really enjoyed like a dragon until the point where you fight Goro and Taiga where my story progress came to a sudden halt and I can grind my way through the 50 lvl battle tower to have a chance. I just hate stuff like this and don't have the time for it.
Anybody know a good cheese for that boss fight?
Definitely a better choice than frostbite. I do wish BioWare would give a procedurally generated universe another shot, but only if it doesn't come at the expense of the story. Gameplay was never mass effects forte, so they might as well give exploration a chance.
This is exactly the kind of game I got gamepass for. Amazing looking indies that I can try when they're digital only releases, and if I really like it I'll shell out the money for the eventual limited run (or any other publisher) physical edition. Just started replaying Ghost of Tsushima and loving it. They're just can't be enough good Samurai games (looking at you Sega, sitting on two samurai era Yakuza games begging to be localized and ported!)
I have a nvidia shield pro with gamepass and geforcenow, with good internet here in europe. I must agree that geforce now does run faster, but I still prefer gamepass since it's just an allround better service.
Sorry that I can't validate the overall concensus here, but I feel like this outrage is a bit silly, and oftentimes coming from people who most likely haven't even played the game. Picked up the disc version super cheap, enjoyed the solid campaign (and a bit further than that) and have never once felt halted in my progress or game enjoyment by scummy monetization schemes. Anybody who pays for these sorts of extras (in any game) is a tool by definition. And the argument "this shouldn't be in a full price game" is right, but if nobody makes use of microtransactions SE will also get the message.
Had it super cheap on playstation (cause of that dumb spiderman deal) and just got through playing it. Was really surprised how good and polished the game was. Really don't get all the hate it got around release, even if you just consider the base campaign that was available at the time it still seems like a solid offering.

Re: Report: GTA 6 To Return To Miami, Could Be With Us In 2024
Having a female protagonist in GTA is a good change, but f*** Florida.
Re: As Dusk Falls Is Ready To Pre-Install With Xbox Game Pass
It's the closest thing to 90s fmv games and perhaps even a visual downgrade. I wonder though if it tells a compelling story.
Re: Bright Memory: Infinite Finally Launches On Xbox This Month
I remember it being advertised as day one game pass.

Re: 'Routine' Is A First-Person Horror Adventure Coming To Xbox Game Pass
Definitely has some chilling alien isolation vibes, more so then that disappointing Aliens trailer.

Seems fine to me... better than "Weapon's" weird, individually modelled teeth. Now that looked horrible!
