Pokémon Yellow on the Gameboy Color. Still my favorite game, even though it’s mostly due to nostalgia. I can still picture playing it back then… amazing.

Good luck to anyone trying to get it! I strongly recommend doing a GameStop Pro membership, I did that and was able to get it no problem. They sent out an email a few minutes before the drop.

As time goes on, Xbox proves over and over again that it is listening to consumers. No console is perfect, but Sony seems to keep making one strange decision after another. I can’t wait for November so I can get my hands on the halo series x..

Looking forward to Tales of Arise, Sable, and Skatebird. Still undecided on which console to get Tales on… but either way I’m hyped for it! Really digging the darker tone, and it looks absolutely beautiful.

I’ve been wanting to play this game, but I’ll definitely wait for the patch first. Hopefully it gets sorted out, the game looks great otherwise.

@GamingFan4Lyf Agreed- I think bundles are kind of a dirty way to make people buy more games and accessories. It’s a shame.

So many games on “last gen” for me to play and beat... so I will gladly pick up a series x and halo on launch day

I just got 3 of these from Newegg- honestly I feel like gamepass ultimate is a steal at this price.

Cool for the novelty, at the very least. I’d pick it up if I had an 8K, but honestly it’ll be 10 years.

Honestly, Microsoft is doing an amazing job here. I’m surprised and excited. I never thought about gamepass before a few months ago, but now I can’t imagine not having it.

If they can truly pump out first party titles and maybe take some chances this gen, along with more RPGs (Dragon Quest 11 is a good start) I think this will be an amazing gen for Xbox.

Since I am most likely doing the Xbox access payment plan thing, I might just pick one of these up at launch to get ahead of the curve.
Then again... I might wait because 2 TB total still isn’t much at all, especially next gen. I was hoping they’d have a higher capacity out the gate... but then again the console would be even more $$$.

I have played so much Undermine, it’s insane.
If you enjoy those addictive roguelikes such as Binding of Isaac or Spelunky... this is a must play.

Still exploring gamepass since I’m relatively new to it... been playing a lot of undermine, touryst, clustertruck, and halo. Tomorrow some buddies and I are going to get into some Destiny 2

I still play my Dreamcast, which sounds like 100 weed whackers on at once lol, so I am sure whatever the fan sounds like it’ll be whisper quiet by comparison.

I like a lot of games on this collection, but I think everyone should check out Gunfright. My buddy and I had way too much fun Lol, really made us laugh for some reason.

I think the white controller is slick, but I always go for the black variant since the white one will be gross and maybe discolored in 10 years...

Now what I am really hoping for is the design lab existing with the new controllers, or at least some special editions soon... I missed out on that phantom magenta controller and I am still bummed about it!

I was skeptical about gamepass for a long time, since I like physical copies of games... but now that I have it, I can truly see it’s value. Being able to play halo with my friends on pc (GP Ultimate)without having to buy it again is great, plus trying out all these indies has been a blast. (Shoutout to the Touryst)

It won’t replace me getting physical games on other systems, but Xbox changed everything here.

Exclusive content has been happening in games for a long time... but this guys response “idk play as a different character or something” is really annoying to me. Wasn’t going to pick this up, but I definitely won’t now.

Finally! All my friends have this on steam, and while I don’t mind playing with them using gamepass on pc, it sure will be nice to be able to play on my couch from my Xbox.

This looks pretty interesting, I’ll have to check it out. I actually just got gamepass ultimate this morning I feel like I just got a ton of games lol. If anyone has any suggestions on what to check out, let me know!

Very cool. Nice to see this type of game coming to Xbox consoles. It won’t make me buy the system, but if I pick up the series x, I’d get this for it also.

Halo 2, for the story (except that ending!) and multiplayer. Many fond memories of taking CRT TVs over time friend’s houses for LAN parties. Good times.
Halo one is a stone cold classic, and I’d say that halo 3 is probably the true best. Such a step forward, and on the 360. Great memories

Such amazing memories with the original Xbox. I remember getting one in 2004, with soul caliber 2, knights of the old republic (best Star Wars game of all time) and then halo 2 shortly after. I’d take my CRT over to a friends house and we would all LAN. Good times

Damn. I got that magazine for several years (to fill the gap once pure Xbox took a hiatus, actually) and really enjoyed the content. Such a shame, makes me miss other greats like Nintendo Power.

@mousieone I actually haven’t played that one! Only the mainline numbered games. The story gets pretty complicated, from what I’ve heard, lol

Such a great series. I remember my friends playing it at launch... but I was a GameCube/Xbox kid so I never got the chance. Last year I played the first two before the third game out, and I was impressed by how Disney fit in so well in an RPG setting. Started to play 3, but I might have to dive back in.

@FullbringIchigo 100% came here to say this. It’s 2020, if I’m spending $400-$500 on a console, throw in a rechargeable battery pack for free. The option is nice, but making us pay extra for a modern solution is insane.

I understand that optical audio is an old standard- but I’ve always loved it and using it in my setup. Not a huge deal tho, this console is getting me more hyped every day. This and the ps5, really. Makes me wonder if we will get a switch pro within a couple years.

Shantae is a top tier platformer, in my opinion. Kind of reminds me of wonder boy 3 with all the monster transformations. I have it on ps4, but I’ll definitely be getting this again

Can’t believe the OG Xbox was revealed this long ago. I have many fond memories of Halo/Halo 2 LAN parties, hauling bulky CRT TVs to friend’s houses... good times. I still have one of the Mountain Dew edition systems hooked up to this day.

@DRL That makes sense. I love the genre but now that I have a full time job it is a lot harder to find time for the games of that length. Plus, taking long breaks from a JRPG can be confusing, which is why I almost devoted all of my gaming time to FF X HD when it came out again for PS3.
