This winds me up too! There are literally no license issues going on here, so it can only be technical reasons? I know that the xbox 360 couldn't emulate the game because the controls wouldn't allow the joysticks to work properly. So maybe they are having the same problem with the xbox series X/S XBONE port?

It's a crime though, such a great game!!!

Backwards compatibility.

So without fail, a major backward compatible announcement is made every 2 years, as follows...

2015 - E3: Backwards compatibility announcement for xbox one

2017 - E3: Original xbox backward compatibility announcement for xbox one

2019 - Inside xbox: Batch of 31 back compat titles added

2021 - Xbox Anniversary Show: Batch of 76 back compat titles added

My prediction, based off a recent rumour is that....

2023 - Activision deal completed: Batch of Activision games added

(And I know you'll all say, "They have finished with back compat, they ended the program" but its been said before and then we saw another drop)
