I can see a future in which consoles are replaced by streaming and dedicated gamers go to PCs. However, the streaming service is not good enough and failed to capture the necessary number of customers to blossom. By placing their games in the competition's boxes, Xbox is weakened.
Microsoft is trying the strategy of the future today, which is very risky, to say the least. Microsoft was an early adopter of smartphones, tablets, and AR/VR. They left most of these markets because they were too early. I fear it will happen again.
In the same week Phil announced Xbox's backwards compatibility, I traded my PS4 for an Xbox One. I was pissed with Sony as most of my library was useless after my PS3 broke and was considering going back to PC gaming exactly because I like to play older titles from time to time. A console with extensive backwards compatibility and promised forward compatibity was exactly what I was looking for.
Double Agent is a rather weak game. The plot is poorly developed and the NSA and terrorist standing mechanic was implement in a stupid way, as it changes in situations one of the parties cannot possible know Fisher did anything.
I am more interested in the campaign. Usually I would play solo first and later try it in co-op. Still, I would rather wait to have the game complete before launch as I am afraid they might not have enough time to iron out all the major bugs.
I would like to see the Spirit of Fire and its crew in Halo Infinite. Likewise, I wonder if the unannounced Halo game rumored to be in production wouldn't be a Halo Wars tie-in with Halo Infinite.
The PS5 controller looks better but I would rather have offset sticks. In any case, only after trying it I would be able to give an opinion. Both could improve by copying Nintendo's classic d-pad though.

Re: Xbox Fans Repulsed By Mid-Game Ubisoft Advert For Assassin's Creed
Unacceptable, as much as I like Assassin's Creed, I would rather not play another Ubisoft game until they stop with this nonsense for good.

Re: Phil Spencer Suggests Nintendo & PlayStation 'Don't Want' To Support Xbox Game Pass
It would make any sense to Nintendo to allow it. However, as a Switch owner, I hope they will embrace this business model in the future.
Re: Poll: What Is Your Xbox Game Of The Year 2020?
@themightyant I voted only in games I've played but, doing so, I certainly skipped some game of the year candidates.

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Want To See From Xbox Game Studios In July?
New stuff! I am quite sure that Halo and Hellblade will be great but Microsoft need to justify all the studio acquisitions.
Re: EA Shows Off Early Footage Of Its Next-Generation Battlefield Game
Not a military expert but aren't those uniforms from the WW2 era?
Re: Satisfy Your Mario Strikers Craving With Offside Legends, Coming To Xbox Series X
Great concept, poor animations.
Re: Microsoft Hints At Potential For More Xbox And Xbox 360 Backwards Compatible Games
I know it is probably not possible due to licensing problems, but I would like to see the Chronicles of Riddick.
Re: Poll: What's Your Favourite Halo Game Released To Date?
I vote for CE mainly because of nostalgy. However, OSDT and Reach are the best campaigns.
