I'm probably not gonna get an Xbox One early on, since I have a lot games for the Wii U I'll have to buy, but I'm a little meh about the price. Looks like Nintendo won't have to worry too much about a price drop since the One isn't $400 like people expected.
@Gamer83 Them not making you pay any fee for a used game is bad? You should check the facts they confirmed the other day. Some were bad, others were a relief.
@VincentV If it does it in stand-by mode, I don't think it'll affect people who have slow internet, but rather people who have unreliable internet that doesn't always stay connected. That means there's a lot of pausing downloads for those people.
I'm glad these finally got confirmed, but not sure I get the whole 24 hours thing. I guess it still works for those who have a low internet connection and play offline, though.
I see Pachter as hopelessly optimistic, unless it comes to Nintendo of course.
I really don't think casuals will suddenly flock to these consoles. Nor will all the "core gamers", because almost each console launch becomes less generally exciting than the last.
He's expecting these consoles (except for the Wii U) to be Wii selling consoles. Wii selling consoles People are already predicting the end of consoles, or even the end of gaming as we know it, and he thinks they'll be Wii selling consoles??
You brought up a lot of points that I forgot, due to hearing so many doom & gloom rants. Isn't that the stuff Nintendo gets all the time? Seriously, I never expected people to declare doom & gloom for the One already and declare the PS4 the deity of this generation. People are underestimating the One. the Wii U, the manufacturer's (i.e. Microsoft), and the average consumer.
I've heard horror stories about the D-pad, so if they've fixed that, it's great.
I love the idea of the vibrating implulse triggers. The analog sticks look like a cross of the Wii U and 360 controllers. Both of which are extremely effective.
The hardware appeals to me a lot more than the PS4, expecially since they didn't go with streaming, but they did go with recording. I still need to know more about the exclusives, though.
As for the name. Plenty of people are calling it dumb, but Nintendo named theirs the Wii U. Both names are what the console represents I suppose.
This is my first time visiting the purexbox site. It seems there isn't quite as many commentors as there is in Nintendolife, but maybe I'll visit this place more often.

@Ryno You don't genuinely think that the government will spy on you, do you?
Re: E3 2013: Xbox Live FREE For 12 Months With Xbox One Preorders
I think this is a neat deal, but I just can't afford it with all the Wii U games coming out this year
Re: E3 2013: Xbox Live FREE For 12 Months With Xbox One Preorders
@Ryno I love Kinect jokes, but as we all know, it doesn't spy on you.

Re: Microsoft to Show 20 Titles at Conference
I just found the livestream and I think I'm too late. I entered into the horridly useless music scene.

They'll need to clarify quite a lot, huh?

I wish I had that kind of optimism.
Re: Amazon UK Prices Xbox One at £599
It cannot be that high, that would be suicide.

I never thought that big sports fans would even care about getting extras in their game.

It'd be great if Battletoads can return, but please just don't mess it up Rare.
Re: Xbox Fitness Domains Registered
Most fitness games lose their novelty very quickly. Unless they're really good dancing games.
Re: Rumour: Kinect for Xbox One has a Confusing Name
Kinect One, not Kinect 2.0. Neither are very catchy if you ask me.

@SuperKMx Do you think Skype will be the killer-app like Pachter says?

Re: Xbox One WILL Allow You to Play Your Games on Other Xbox One Consoles
Okay, so there's no fee when you use your profile. But will there be a limited amount of times to sign in from other Xbox's?
Re: Rare Bringing "Historic Franchise" to E3
I'm up for it, as long if they do a good job.
Re: Xbox Reveal: Xbox One to Launch Later this year
At least we know right away that it's coming to Europe this year.
