One thing Xbox One is really lacking is non-violent games. As a result, it is not appealing to non-violent gamers such as those from Nintendo. Should Xbox allow some sort of non-violent options it may enlarge its market share.

@SuperKMx That is almost not true. Wii U games run almost as fast as Xbox One. Wii U disk drive, indeed, is almost as fast as a hard disk drive.

One reason of using physical disk is when a game developer wants to change content after a game's release. Wii U games seldom do so, and if they do they only include a small fix usually. Wii U can read the change from its flash drive while running the game disk, and thus it does not suffer from slow loading speed. However, I have heard that Xbox One and PS games frequently update their game file to fix glitches.

I am not sure of the logic behind compulsory installation of games on Xbox harddrive. Can't Xbox one just run games on disks, just like what Wii u does?

I really want to support Xbox one by buying its games. But today I look at the game list on Xbox one. 98% of the games are violent. I only have five non violent games and have no intention to buy more. Then I know why I want to stick with Wii U.

I usually buy indie games on either Wii u or PC. Wii u gives you club Nintendo credits for more games (though this is going to change). PC indie games have more sales. In contrast, there is nit much advantage of buying indie games on Xbox One.
