I actually has never played Dark Soul... What does it play like? Equivalence to any of the Nintendo games?

Fighter games are so old... This genre was popularly in SNES and Genesis era, but now...

@Tasuki Ghouls N Ghosts on Genesis plays like a fast version of Super GNG on SNES.

I played Shantae on Wii U. This game is a good platformer, but there are better games (Rayman Legends, Sonic Lost World...) It is a bit like Action Adventure game, but breaks no ground to make it distinct from other modern platformers.

Simple game and look fun. Japanese tv show has such a game for real people running up the stairs.

@JaxonH You probably do not need to sleep that much. After I get old I actually start to feel video games are becoming monotonous... I spent more time visiting video game websites than actually playing them.

How can this game look so blocky, as compared to Mario Kart 8?

Dmc Devil May Cry on my PC. The game is so good that I am wondering if I should buy the Virgil DLC or Bayonetta 2.

Papers please on PC ~ an example how a game with poor graphics wins in its engrossing gameplay. For some reasons i am not really getting into Rare Replay.

The blue ray drive is pretty useless - games are run on hard disk anyway. However, the new console with a disc drive means that players have to buy games on MS store or using download codes. Usually games are cheaper on stores than online.

@Tasuki I told people - Sonic Transformed is better than MK8.

@SuperKMx @PacificMustang Good idea to wait for sales. I am unsure if I like realistic simulation games, but I am sure others like them a lot.

I like the game Go! Train. How is it compared to Go! Train?

@KelticDevil I still believe that Japs games have potential. Nintendo is still making Japanese games and they generally sell well. Obviously MS is not planning to quit Japs market - it sells Xbox One in Japan. However, the sales is abysmal - I went to big Japanese game shops recently and many of them do not even hold xbox consoles or games.

As an Asian I tend to dislike Western games. I think Kinect has a huge potential - its motion detection was very accurate but the kinect itself severely underutilized. PS4 also has good Japs game (Dragon Quest). Among the three consoles Xbox One is the weakest in the genre of Japanese games.

@KelticDevil You may head to Nintendo Life or Metacritics for review. Probably play the same anyway as the stellar pont for this game is not graphics but the story and the puzzles.

I will be really happy with my xbox if it has more Japanese titles.

I played Shantae the Private Curse on Wii U: The game was so easy I beat it already.

Played the Wii U version. Extremely good story. Inventive puzzles in an Adventure game. Some of the solutions in the puzzle are insanely fun.

I keep looking and looking in the xbox store, trying to find games that I want to buy. The games are mostly too violent for me. I found none.

@KelticDevil I went to Japan recently and the popularity of Xbox One is just abysmal. Wii U and 3DS are the largest sales there, followed by PS3 and Vita. No one cares about the Xbox One console there. Shops may sell only 2 or 3 xbox one games in stores, if they do sell xbox one games. This starks in contrast with the popularity of the console in the West.

Xbox may have tried to port more Japanese games but the number is clearly not enough in Xbox One as compared to Wii U and PS4. Someone tried to ask if there are xbox one games suitable for kids and she was replied with only two games. You mentioned that the quality of Jap games has dropped. I am unsure if I agree but there are some gamers who still like Jap games. To me, American games do not really matter as I do not play them often. (I am an Asian.)

It means that Xbox should not stop making Japanese games. We need more Japanese type of games on xbox one, and the backward compatibility is not going to resolve this.

@narcoss Probably a Wii U would be good for him. Xbox one games usually have mature rating.

At least look interesting and original.

Kinect is cool. Its games are good but too few. Unlike others, the voice commands did not really work for me well. I, however, really like the accuracy of the motion tracking.

Great! That will allow us to play those old games and tremendously increase xbox one library!

More interested in Kinect games

I am probably the only one here to find the game too longand difficult. I got the Wii u version and I only get it half way through.

I am unsure if it is open world, but Zelda: Windwaker HD's world is so awesome and full of things to explore!

Steamworld was such an interesting game to me. When I first played it I thought nothing special about it. But later it has some very interesting puzzle-solving areas.

Still playing those cheap Humble Nimble games. They will probably occupy me for the entire month.

Smart, particularly because indie games are usually as good as or better than those big games. Never Alone, I heard, is a very good game.

I would be very interested in this game if this game has a setting of non-violence.

xbox fitness - I am perhaps the only one who plays that.

I think xbox 360 is similar to xbox one in their controller. However, I just found the controller to be much lighter if I remove the battery and just use the power of the console to supply energy to the controller through usb.

I purchased Xbox one just fir Kinect. Have no interest in other games.

I wish that this game would support kinect, with an option of using running to imitate paddling on the bike. That will be a good exercise.

The best games on Kinect are probably Dance Central Spotlight and Fantasia. The Fruit Ninja game and this game do not appear to be very interesting.

The games look interesting. Not sure how it is compared to Wii U's platformers (Mario, Sonic, Donkey Kong).

@SuperKMx Well, what updates can do is to entirely replace certain game files where glitches are found.

With good management I still do not see the need to run games from hard disk. Donkey Kong has 10 G and Xenoblade will have a much larger disk size. Games are actually running smoother on Wii U than on Xbox, although this is only my personal experience with the two consoles.
