Re: Ubisoft Moves To $70 Price Point With Next-Gen-Only Skull & Bones

Games have been $60 for twenty years now. Another tenner makes sense if we expect AAA budget games. Not every game makes money on MTX and if we look at the number of games that fail (Hyperscape, Babylon’s Fall, Anthem, etc.)there will be costs associated with it. Also, it’s still cheaper than games were in the 90s. But I’ve just been gaming for thirty five years so what do I know. I’m intrigued by this one, but probably won’t play it.

@tartanross I would have to point out you must not be big into indies or smaller A titles. And based on the comments to others you must have specific games you’re looking for as well. Switch has some great exclusives (non first party) I’ve played on it over the last few years. I own all 3 consoles and right now my Switch gets as much if not more use than my PS5 and Series. 3rd party AAA is great on PS/Xbox, but lots of great things on Switch if you know where to look and have varied tastes.

It’s all opinion anyway, but I can barely keep up with games this year as plenty has come out on GamePass, PS5, and Switch.
