Disappointing to be honest, I expected more. The only sale that really made my CC sweat was more than a year ago already, where some Lego titles were down to $8 and we had some real steals on the Kinect front. I really expected this sale to be huge because this is the time of year where we need a gaming injection, but it's mostly prices we already were offered once or more.
@Tasuki
Usually they opt to be lenient when a customer can't reasonably assume the mispriced item can't be sold for that amount of money. In this case therefore I figured Amazon would ship the controllers, because even at the misprinted price it's still a lot of money and it could be the actual price. But since it is a pre order however, there is no actual harm done and the buyer don't have the right to "claim" the item yet; if they were in stock I'm almost certain Amazon would have shipped em.
I ordered 3 of these controllers already at 3 different shops and they haven't been canceled yet. I ordered 1 for €50, 1 for €89 and 1 for €100, with the last one already being confirmed that I'll get it for that price. It was a misprint indeed, but not many people ordered it. The €50 I'm almost certain will get canceled, but after Gamescom and some hands on time I know I'm gonna need at least 2, probably 3 if both my boys want one too... It's the best controller I ever felt, customizing is really easy and the used materials are of a really high quality. Worth $150 if you ask me, but buying 3 at that price would be insane ofc
@DRL I can see this game selling well on the PS4 without a GT7 on the horizon (excellent launch time btw, cause it will be announced this E3 I guess). But with Forza 6 just a couple of months away I'll hold out for that one. No matter how you put it, One owners will be stuck with a version that's inferior and the handling with a controller is still off. With Forza you know you're in for a treat with superb handling, making use of the haptic feedback and they'll manage to squeeze more out of the One on a technical level.
Oh wow... If your pile of shame has Bayonetta and the Wonderful 101 on it, you're one lucky guy! For me those are still the best games of this generation so far, it's a shame the Wii U is selling so poorly. No One for me this weekend, been playing PES for over 2 days and it's extremely sad to see how Konami treated the One version.
@Utena-mobile
I hope it somehow gets patched, because this feels like a slap in the face. Why on earth would a dev go for 1080p if they can't maintain a steady framerate? Just dial down the resolution a bit and make sure the framerate is a stable 60fps. I don't need 1080p to enjoy me a souls game, a stable framerate however is important.
And sure, everyone can refer to Blighttown or other flaws in the original; this should be the definitive version, definitive versions don't have more problems than the original. No matter how many Ps you throw at it, it still noticeably is an old gen's game...so better make sure it runs smooth and not alienate your audience even further by catering to your "Japanese friends" only.
I actually put Bloodborne aside so it could get proper patching and decided to buy DS2 for my One because I played both DS installments on my 360. But I gotta be completely honest and admit I made the wrong choice, it feels like Japanese devs refuse to optimize properly for the One. We've seen this before with other games, like MGS and PES for example, and here it's clear this version isn't what it's supposed to be. Sure, the PS4 might be a tad more powerful, but the performance of this version is beyond bad. I would not recommend buying this till From makes it their priority to patch it, because in a game where every little move counts it's hard to accept when it runs like a slideshow. I can't believe they didn't just bring the resolution down if they aren't willing to do some extra work, or cap the fps at 30 for all I care, because the peaks and dips, even if they are 30+, are really killing this game for me. Where I do notice the difference between 30 and 60 fps, it's somerhing I can take into account while playing, but an fps that fluctuates the way this does is nearly unplayable for me. I might be over sensitive for this, but it's really the last thing I expected from a "definitive version". At first I was bummed this game didn't include part 1...now I feel bad for even trying. It's a disgrace they've put it out like this imo and if you're not willing to give ALL consumers what they deserve, I rather have it you just cater to your obviously preferred audience.
I'm absolutely positive a new One (slim, Lite, One -) is coming our way. I recently bought 8 white sunset overdrive bundles on the German branch of Amazon when they were just €299 to send back home, and prices like these aren't uncommon the last few months (I'm no Santa of any kind, prices in RSA are ridiculous and I'm letting people pay!). It seems like they're clearing out all the bundles who are just filling up storage place in order to replace them with new SKUs. I never cared much for smaller versions of consoles; they are ussualy more quiet, but you often times have to sacrifice on the stylistic department. At first I was madly in love with the looks of my PS4 and was astonished by the fact what their engineers were able to fit in such a tiny case, but after a few weeks I started to find the design less and less attractive to the point where I now feel it's ugly...with the One the opposite is true. But if we indeed get a slim, I'll probably have to get one as well...because I'm putting my money on a Halo One.

Is it the shape of that car or do the graphics look really 2007?
