Stalker 2's arrival on Xbox Game Pass has been somewhat controversial due to various bugs and glitches present in the current experience - but one thing that's hard to deny is developer GSC Game World's dedication to the title. Creating this game in extremely trying circumstances must have been incredibly tough, but even so, the team has managed to cram in loads of cool easter eggs for its most dedicated fans to discover.
And discover them, they are doing. Browsing on social media this week, we've started to see a bunch of very cool Stalker 2 easter eggs crop up - from references to older games in the series, to a Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare easter egg - and even a Harry Potter one! Here, we'll throw some examples of these down below:
Given that we're less than a week out from the game's launch, and Stalker 2's world is rather vast, we'd assume these easter eggs merely scratch the surface of what GSC Game World has packed into its open world title. These little nods are awesome to see, and we can't wait to come across what else folks find!
We're also looking forward to the team's first big patch, to fix some of those aforementioned bugs, which is due sometime this week. The Ukrainian studio is targeting seven key areas in its first Stalker 2 update, which we've detailed down below.
Which of these is your favourite? Spotted any cool Stalker 2 EEs yourself? Tell us in the comments!

Apologies if sharing a link is nit allowed but I thought it was very clever
@Lucylu1983 This is very very cool! Some of the little details in this game are remarkable.
I have finished my first play through & this isnt just my goty its the best game i have ever played.
Even with the bugs & issues it has now it has so much atmosphere, immersion & superb environmental story telling that i think folks will be finding these easter eggs for years to come.
I found a few cool thing & some quite horrifying things too (many jump scares for sure.) I did get a huge nostalgia hit when I discovered areas from the previous games, especially rookie village with a particular trader in his bunker.
Stealth or lack of has killed the game for me...so inconsistent that it frustrated betond belief ..and I dont want to go gun blazing all the time .......I could over look other issues people have problems with ..intact it adds sone charm...annoying because I was really liking the game
@StylesT Out of interest can you remember which mission you were trying to stealth.
There is one in the red forest set in an underground hospital with an optional no kill requirement for extra rewards. It was quite hard but I managed it with stealth and finding well hidden secret passages.
I will say its easier to stealth in buildings or indoor locations than it is outside. Outside monsters & enemies do seem to laser focus on you from a long distance regardless of your situation.
I am guessing that is due to the bugs with the A-life system but hopefully that will get rectified when the A-life patch drops in the future.
Hope you will give it another chance later as (i think) its well worth the effort.
@StylesT What issues do you have with stealth?
Are you paying attention to your noise meter and using weather etc to conceal you? A silenced weapon will still alert people into is quiet outside, for example.
You also have your scent and hunger to deal with too depending on what you're going against.
