Last month, we finally got news of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's long-in-development Xbox One release, with Respawn Entertainment announcing a September launch date for the last-gen version. Well, that version is now out in the wild - and a new comparison video shows us how it stacks up against Xbox Series X.
Of course, that comparison is right there up above for you to all enjoy. Now, this isn't a super in-depth frame rate analysis or anything — more an initial look at how the game is shaping up on older consoles — but it is quite an interesting watch. Surprisingly, Respawn seems to have done a pretty good job with the visuals - we were expecting a much different looking game with how shaky the Series X|S launch was back in 2023!

Instead, the game looks quite similar to its current-gen sibling, barring a much lower res and some obvious cuts to visual effects, etc. The video also throws the Xbox One X version in there for good measure, which as you'd expect, bridges the gap quite nicely between base Xbox One and the Xbox Series consoles.
Anyway, we'll have to see how the frame rate shapes up when other comparisons and impressions land for Jedi Survivor on Xbox One, but for now, call us rather impressed by Respawn's efforts here - based on this early look.
What do you think of this new last-gen port? Drop your thoughts on the video down below.

But if it's not 4k 60fps ray tracing with feedback triggers with bells a whistles I can't play itðŸ˜
Goes to show there's still a large market of gamers still on the previous gen.
I had zero doubt this game would be just fine on last-gen. Other than the larger environments, there really wasn't much of an improvement over the first game graphically.
Sure, some bells-and-whistles were added for current-gen release, but it's all window dressing that can be paired back.
Those load times on last-gen are insane though - and is really one of the biggest "game changers" for consoles this generation.
