Remedy Entertainment has just unveiled a short teaser trailer for its upcoming Alan Wake 2 expansion - with the 'Lake House' DLC now set to hit Xbox consoles next month.

The game's second expansion follows on from the fantastic Night Springs add-on, which launched on Xbox earlier this year. Deluxe Edition owners - this is your final major story DLC for Remedy's mind-bending horror title.

"Dive into a harrowing survival horror experience with the latest expansion for Alan Wake 2, set in an eerie new location on the shores of Cauldron Lake. Within the Federal Bureau of Control's research station, the Lake House, a catastrophic event has occurred, where reckless experiments have caused reality to collide with the Dark Place."

The development team says that this story "unfolds parallel to the main game", and puts you in control of FBC agent Kiran Estevez. Yep, Remedy's final Alan Wake 2 DLC is going full crossover mode with Control in on the action - and we're totally here for how wild and wacky Lake House will inevitably turn out to be.

For now, Alan Wake 2 Lake House is planned for October 2024, with the team not yet nailing down its full release date.
