We can't take any credit on staff for this — the PX Game Club is the work of ralphdibny, Balta666 and the rest of the contributors over at the Pure Xbox forums, who have established a community that meets up every month to play a game on Xbox Game Pass and share their experiences. Games are voted on every month by the contributors involved.
The game for June 2024 is Evil West, which came out back in late 2022 and was added to Xbox Game Pass in March of this year. The game is playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

"Finished the main campaign with approx. 16hrs play time and 67% completion. Overall I really enjoyed it, although I didn't like the final stage as much as the rest of the game and it probably drops it from a 9/10 game to an 8/10 for me.
I actually prefer the puzzle and exploration elements more than the combat - except for maybe the stealth bits - so I'll likely go back and complete the optional tombs and the maybe some of the missions, although I'll probably not bother with the collectibles. Odd that a game called Tomb Raider makes the actual raiding tombs bit optional!"

"I was a bit worried to play it for the first time on a controller as I tend to struggle with slow movement shooting, like with the bow, without mouse accuracy (Horizon Zero Dawn I remember you...) but it was a seamless transition and was doing headshots left and right 👍.
Although I still prefer the more linearity of the first, this is a 10/10 game that everyone should play (now I think I will finish the prior entry for the 5th time or so)..."
