Let's have some good news, shall we?!
If you've been looking forward to a massive drop of Activision Blizzard games on Xbox Game Pass, it sounds like we're getting pretty close now. Recently, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy was spotted getting a PC version on the Xbox PC app, and now the same thing has happened to the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
The release date of the PC version was yesterday (May 7th), and it's actually available to buy right now:
When Xbox games get PC versions out of the blue, it usually means they're being readied for an inclusion with PC Game Pass - and considering Xbox owns the Crash franchise, it's an obvious candidate for Xbox Game Pass as well.
If we were to make a guess, it wouldn't be a surprise to see a batch of Activision Blizzard titles arrive on the Game Pass service at the Xbox Games Showcase this June, so here's hoping there's a lot of good stuff to come in the near future!

"whatever else" exact sentiment of xbox fans
More old games
@OldGamer999 nothing wrong with that.
This will be one big dump of games and re-listings on June 9th. I think there will be games like the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games being dropped that day too.
A good chance to boost the frame rate of Spyro Reignited Trilogy (on Xbox). It doesn't bother me on Crash Bandicoot N.sane trilogy because of the camera.
No old ABK games on Game Pass = What are they waiting for?
Old ABK games on Game Pass = More old games...
🤣
@K1LLEGAL
Marvel Ultimate Alliance. 🫡
I see you have good taste. I really hope some of the old Marvel games get added and relisted. It'll make me so happy to play them again.
@K1LLEGAL I doubt we will see any Marvel games Activision made coming to Game Pass due to the fact that they don't have the Marvel licence anymore.
Treyarch's Spider-Man 2 was a Great game but Sony has the licence to Spider-Man now and why games like Ultimate Alliance, Deadpool & Spider-Man games were delisted.
I'd also like the Transformers Cybertron games but I think these to will not be on Game Pass or playable via Backwards Compatibility due to Licencing issues.
@K1LLEGAL
Those aren't even available on my region. Hopefully if that happens, that'll change.
At least Toys For Bob went indie, so they’re safe as a studio. I expect a big drop of Activision titles in the showcase, so this one’s hardly a surprise.
Finally something else already own the crash trilogy it's great but a lot harder than I remembered as a kids playing spyro again will be great aswell my daughter will love it
Really wonder when they'll significantly bump up the price of the subscription. No matter how often they claim that Game Pass is sustainable, it all boils down to how they do the accounting of first party games. Also just a matter of time before EA Play will be removed (obviously, yes).
I wanna get excited but I completely suck at crash.
@OldGamer999 Whats wrong with that? There were tons of comments of people begging for this sort of thing and now that it may be happening people are meh about it and throwing shade at it. People can never be happy lol.
@Banjo- EXACTLY! hahaha
I don't think I'll be resubscribing to game pass anytime soon.
Quite looking forward to finally trying this collection out.
I wonder what’s took them so long to bring Activision games onto Xbox Game Pass anyways?
Yay! News that isn't negative pr0nz. Microsoft needs to release an old COD on Game Pass. Be smart to drop one like every month or 2 and boost their servers to get people to play em
@PrinceOfPorgs98 I still have them digitally on my Xbox luckily but yes I really liked the first one. Never finished the second, maybe I should fix that.
I am looking forward to Crash Racing on Game Pass, but I'd prefer it if Microsoft breathed some new life into these older titles by adding additional features, if not new gameplay options then some simple quality-of-life improvements.
@BAMozzy There's been a lot of good noises about relisting the Transformers games, with them being one of the few BC titles NOT available on the XBOX One/Series storefront.
Probably the only good news for Xbox this week smh.
@BAMozzy Was Sony buying the license why? It was so long ago I thought it was because/when Disney bought Marvel, and everything was mostly delisted.
@shoeses Sony doesn't 'own' the Marvel licence as that is of course owned by Disney. What I mean is that they no longer hold the Licence and therefore cannot sell those games. They don't have the licence or rights to make money from another's 'IP'.
@K1LLEGAL apparantly the Marvel games have license issues. The whole mess with the DLC still persists. It's a pity, because they are fantastic games. As we're the OG xbox x men legends games.
