Welcome to your latest Xbox Game Pass update! We have two fresh titles coming to the library today, including a brand-new "day one" release in the form of Botany Manor - which happens to be reviewing rather well so far.
Here's some more info on what to expect from this new puzzle adventure, alongside an introduction to today's second game; Kona.
Botany Manor (Console, PC, Cloud) - Later Today
"Welcome to Botany Manor, a stately home in 19th century England. You play as inhabitant Arabella Greene, a retired botanist. Explore your house and gardens, filled with research, to figure out the ideal habitat of forgotten flora. Grow each plant to discover the mysterious qualities they hold."
Kona (Console, PC, Cloud)
"Northern Canada, 1970. A strange blizzard ravages Atamipek Lake. Step into the shoes of a detective to explore the eerie village, investigate surreal events, and battle the elements to survive. Kona is a chilly interactive tale you won't soon forget."

I downloaded Kona which looks interesting, but Botany Manor sounds like my sort of thing too.
Yeah, kinda interested in both. Might give both a try, but the backlog is pretty big!
Botany Manor is exactly the kind of thing I like to try on Gamepass - something that, on paper, is really not my kind of thing but gets good reviews and isn't a huge time commitment. I've played some gems that I would never have played that way, thanks to Gamepass.
Both look interesting and come at a time I'm looking for something new to play.
neither. unfortunately I get sick very easily with first person games, so this is a hard pass unfortunately.
Played and finished Kona before.
It's okay, worth a play through.
These both sound interesting. Glad that Game Pass is serving up a steady stream of stuff to play.
Botany manor looks amazing. This type of stuff is one of the big reasons I love game pass.
I passed on Kona in the past and can’t remember why—will try to give it a shot too!
Not sure why you and Fraser are reporting that Kona is coming to pc. It's just cloud and console
Already finished Kona on Gamepass last time around, nice little game, so gonna go for Botany Manor
@fabio1 the review of Botany Manor in the Guardian (4 stars) says “There are fantastic, upfront accessibility options for players who struggle with the motion sickness that can often come with first-person gameplay”
So it might still be playable for you if you are interested.
@Old_Man_Harper huh, I actually gave it a try, and was pleased that they have several options to "optimize" the game for sensitive folks like me". I played a bit (got the first flower puzzle) and I am fine. thanks for the heads up!
