Alan Wake 2 had a strong launch, but has also had some teething issues. One, in particular, is tied to audio delays in the Xbox version of the game. Developer Remedy has previously delivered a workaround fix for certain audio issues.
In a brief update on social media, the developer has reassured Xbox players it's well aware of the current audio issues and is continuing work on resolving them. It's also acknowledged a bug tied to inputs. Here's the full rundown:
As mentioned, a hotfix is currently in the works, and the team will keep providing updates on its progress until then.

@Kaloudz The first one was not for everyone. I LOVED the world building, the atmosphere, writing, use of music and more but loathed the gameplay. Not played the sequel, but I hear it's better in all aspects especially the gameplay. Personally waiting for all DLC to play it at once (and hopefully a physical release)
I’m getting fed up waiting but at least they’ve acknowledged it again. I bought the game at launch and really want to play it but the lip sync ruins the experience for me. It’s like watching a bad dub. Hopefully they fix this sooner rather than later.
I played Alan Wake remastered last month, as wanted to run through it before Control and AW2... I almost quit a few times in the first half of the game, was so samey! But it really picked up in the second half of the game, enough that I picked up American Nightmare on sale the other day!
so waiting until this is sorted before I get into AW2... still have AN and Control to play before that though
@Kaloudz the gameplay wasn’t good Day 1 imho, but there was enough else great that I stuck with it to the end, and it’s a game that sticks in the memory. But I can't imagine the gameplay has aged well, would be harder to play recently without nostalgia goggles
I'm not to far into the game only a couple chapters hopefully it stays ok for me till the end please 🙏
