Ahead of early previews for Forza Motorsport landing later this month, the team at Turn 10 has unveiled the full track list for the game's early October launch on Xbox Game Pass.
We've got a solid list of racing routes here, including lots of returning favourites mixed in with a few new locales; all rebuilt with the power of Xbox Series X|S in mind. Here's the full launch-day list, which consists of 20 track locations in total:
- Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
- Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
- Eaglerock Speedway
- Grand Oak Raceway
- Hakone Circuit
- Homestead-Miami Speedway
- Indianapolis Motor Speedway
- Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit
- Laguna Seca Raceway
- Le Mans - Circuit International de la Sarthe
- Lime Rock Park
- Maple Valley
- Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
- Mugello Circuit
- Nürburgring GP
- Road America
- Silverstone Circuit
- Suzuka Circuit
- Virginia International Raceway
- Watkins Glen International Speedway
Some of these locations should have multiple racing routes, so the actual track layout number is expected to be higher - even on day one. Having said that, some routes are already planned to drop after launch, including Nürburgring's famous Nordschleife circuit.
Our latest look at raw footage of Forza Motorsport proved pretty impressive, with some great-looking gameplay coming out of Gamescom 2023. We've got just over a month to go until the new Forza Motorsport hits Xbox Series X|S and PC, including Game Pass, this October.
Are you happy with this launch day track list? Let us know what you reckon to the lineup down below.

I thought they'd wait until the general release - and a week later - of Starfield to start the next hype train.
Gonna be weird racing on spa again with normal cars instead of the f1 cars.
20 doesn't seem like a whole lot but I guess you can drive them in reverse as well next to what's mentioned.
Looking like a good start to me.
Good selection there. As for Nordschleife circuit, I would be perfectly happy if that never appears in any racing game ever again.
@Cashews They've been announcing a single track regularly over the past few weeks and of course with Gamescom recently, they had quite a presence there too. Its not 'stepping' on Starfields 'hype' at all - a very different game for a start and, if anything, adds to the positivity around 'Xbox' this holiday season.
Starfield this month with Forza coming soon after - what 'better' time to join the Xbox ecosystem - whether that's with a Game Pass Subscription on whatever device(s) you already own, buying an Xbox console and/or buying the game on Steam/PC/Console with numerous 'big' games out/coming very soon...
Not sure if it's in there since I forget the track name. It was in I want to say forza 3 or 4. Very mountainous track with lots of turns in Japan. Pretty sure has not been in forza game since then. Really enjoyed it and think would look amazing on series x.
@Cashews You are a very, very, very smart gamer. Company is called bugthesda for a reason. I'll probably play just little bit next week. Then completely forget about the game for at least 6 months or more until bugthesda finally has it in semi-playable state by then.
@BAMozzy Oh I don't care at all really - just making an observation. They can, and will, promote these things however they want.
I don't really care about Starfield outside of my experience with it. Part of me is more excited about Forza. I haven't played one since Forza 4.
@BAMozzy Pretty sure they have major Nelson's replacement. You can stop the audition now lol. : )
@GuyinPA75 Fujimi Kaido. I would also love to see that track on new technology. As well as Rio, New York, and Dubai.
I would also love to see a few fictional tracks as well. Not everything has to be official licensed locales.
No Road Atlanta? Seriously? That's a staple.
@Cashews you didn't miss much with 5 or 6, not really and 7 was more interesting as you had more 'dynamic' elements and of course, it was built with the 1X in mind but I'd say 4 was certainly better than 5 but each was iterative improvements they built onto the existing engine. This is a new engine so I'm interested in seeing as well as 'feeling' a difference.
The last one didn't feel any different even though it had more 'dynamic' elements like weather, so I'm looking forward to trying this when it releases too.
As for Starfield, it seems like a typical Bethesda RPG without the typical bugs, glitches or performance woes at launch than their predecessors and on top of that, has improvements too with 'smoother' general animations and snappy/responsive Combat - compared to 'Fallout'. So if you 'enjoy' Bethesda RPG's in general or specific settings (like Fantasy/Elder Scrolls, Alternative 'reality' post apocalyptic/Fallout, Space/Starfield) this should be somewhat similar.
My Experience through the game should be vastly different to anyone elses because that is the point of a 'Role' playing game that gives you the Freedom to play 'Any' Role with whatever backstory you want, whatever 'skills' you want to suit the 'character' you created to fulfil that role in this playground...
Enjoy if that's what you enjoy playing... It seems that both are likely to deliver a 'playable, consistent, bug free' experience at launch these days regardless of 'who' publishes them. At the end of the day, they all compete for your 'time' and money and not all 'deliver' on Day 1 - its up to each person to 'decide' if its worth their time or not, worth whatever 'costs' are involved etc.
As a gamer, you just want 'each' game to deliver on what was expected - including a bug free consistent and playable experience - enjoyable is subjective, I don't 'enjoy' Mortal Kombat so won't waste my time on it regardless of how 'great' it reviews or how 'polished' it is. Redfall didn't 'deliver', Starfield 'has, Forza Motorsport has a History of delivering 'polished' games at launch so I don't 'expect' any less this time either...
@InterceptorAlpha It will probably get added after release
@AverageGamer Yes. But the fact that it isn't there at launch is the issue.
Like Halo Infinite's launch all over with the anemic number of maps.
@InterceptorAlpha I can easily give Forza a pass on limited maps. Given the massive engine overhaul we are seeing with this game… and the painstaking amount of work that goes laser scanning tracks to capture every detail down to a rock. Halo maps aren’t created same way, and they could have easily put up more maps for launch.
But there was no they was going to get a “large” amount of tracks into the game. We literally go through this at the start of every generation with Forza. The first true Forza of the generation is basically a clean slate scraping everything done from the previous generation.
@GuyinPA75 Yeah seeing the Japan tracks from Forza 4 would be incredible for this game. It's what they really need IMO, something to make it standout.
@Turn 10,
Forza Motorsport 2023 is my Most Anticipated Game: Approximately when can we expect Daytona International Speedway to be added to Forza Motorsport?
@BAMozzy,
RedFall was my Undisputed GOTY until Starfield released. I absolutely never trust Reviewers, especially ACG. I've been Gaming for 5 Decades, I know when Reviewers and So-Called Journalists have agendas; I'll bet none of them can go into detail about the intricacies of the excellent Gameplay in RedFall!
i have 240+ hours in RedFall and a Level 36. RedFall is Splinter Cell, Alan Wake Nightmare, Perfect Dark Zero, and The Division while in "Single Player Mode" on the XBOX Series X.
RedFall is a Tremendous Game, with no Cutscenes breaking immersion! I'm thrilled Arkane is sticking with RedFall.
My RedFall Score: 9.3
@InterceptorAlpha,
Halo Infinite launched in the face of The Covid-19 Pandemic! 343 Industries should've been awarded a Medal for releasing a Flawless Game at Launch, with a Single Player and Multiplayer: EA Developers said that Openly!
@otherZinc Thanks for the joke. I needed one this morning.
@otherZinc To be honest, I couldn't care less - no disrespect meant, but that wasn't the 'point' I was making about Redfall. I know that 'some' will enjoy it more than others but the point I was making is that at Launch, Redfall was NOT a polished game that delivered a bug free, consistent and solid experience.
It, like many games, did not deliver in this regard and many couldn't get past the 'issues' to actually 'enjoy' the game, the game-play etc - which isn't 'fun' if the frame-rate isn't consistent, the AI appalling and 'game-breaking' issues that plague the game at launch.
My point was that compared to 'typical' Bethesda games, they have actually released a Consistent and 'solid' game that 'works' as expected at launch - something Redfall 'failed' to do - regardless of whether you enjoyed it or not. You cannot deny that it didn't launch in a 'polished' state with no bugs/issues...
