SEGA has today released its first of three free updates for the "open-zone" 2022 release Sonic Frontiers.
The "Sights, Sound & Speed" update adds a jukebox mode, a photo mode, cyber space challenge and also a new battle rush mode. You should be able to download this right now on your Xbox!
This update will be followed later on in the year by two other free updates. Update 2 will contain "Sonic's Birthday", a new open zone challenge, and new Koco. The third update will add new playable characters and a new story.
Will you be revisiting Sonic Frontiers to try out this new update? Comment below.

@Kaloudz I think that the third update will make the game even more complete and enjoyable.
No new achievements. Lazy
@Kaloudz They are adding a new story and a playable character.
Im still really keen on trying this game and I believe I will enjoy it.
I thought I'd pick it up when there is a lull in the subscriptions services, but both GP and PS premium have been killing it for me, so I've not picked it up yet. The moment it dips under 30 pounds im in there!!
Its great to see it attracting decent post release support, good job sega...
@Bricktop33 You play games for achievements? 😂😂
@Kaloudz But you'll have to wait for the third update to play the new story and additional character 😊.
@InterceptorAlpha A lot don't have replayability otherwise yes. I'm a completionist, and you will find a lot of others on this site and Push Square are too.
@Titntin its been under 30 for ages. Plus copies often sell on eBay bids for 17 or 18 pounds. Generally speaking on this game if you put a 21 pound bid down in the last 15 seconds on a bid (sniper yes but everyone else will do it to you so fk it), you will get this for 20 or so, plus postage.
@Bricktop33 My response is the same to anyone that plays for them.
Just sound like a sad life to lead if you can't enjoy a game without it telling you how to play it. Especially when it makes you think a developer is lazy for omitting something with zero value.
@InterceptorAlpha i enjoy plenty of games thanks. I'm a completionist not that it is anything to you. I would rather go for achievements than for example play call of duty online every single day. Much more fulfilling.
@Bricktop33 Thank you for the info. Im aware that its cheaper in physical form, but I simply dont do physical, so I end up paying more. Its an ecological thing for me, if media can be consumed digitally, then I'll always do that rather wasting resources, like plastic, printing shipping fuel etc etc.
It really is a personal thing and choice, and I certainly do not judge people who consume otherwise - its certainly cheaper, and peoples budgets are stretched.
Its in a psn sale for 33 at the moment, so maybe next time its in a sale I'll get to play it!
@Titntin you should try eneba or cd keys. They sell digital keys for much cheaper. Both reputable safe sites.
@Bricktop33 Thanks for the tip, I'll check them out 👍
@Kaloudz What? Your save file is not found? It should always be on the cloud and be automatically downloaded when you reinstall and launch a game. Is the console online?
@Kaloudz Try contacting Microsoft.
