It's been an amazing few years for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and it all finally comes to an end this Tuesday, February 21st, as the game is getting its final ever update on Xbox (and other platforms) in the form of Patch 1.7.0.
There's nothing major here as we're just looking at bug fixes for the most part, although keep in mind that it's a fairly chunky update at 15.1GB on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and 9.9GB on Xbox One.
Without further ado, here's the full list of patch notes.

Enjoyed the hell out of Valhalla but I was very much done with the game once I had done the DLCs and add-ons, I didn't buy the Ragnarok expansion.
I discovered during Odyessy the trick to playing these massive Ubisoft titles, take a break after 50 hours, treat that as part 1 and go play other games then swing back.
Valhalla was the first game I bought for my Series X. 100% the main campaign then never went back. I had some great fun along the way but this one definitely suffered from open world fatigue.
My favorite part was seeing an old version of Tamworth. It was a lot easier to get around thanks to there being no bloody Ventura Park.
This game burned me out of the Ubisoft formula, seriously I can’t believe how unnecessarily long and repetitive a game can be, and DLC’s are even more of the same with different skins, they were on a good track with Origins and Odyssey but they dropped the ball with this one.
No mention of fixing the horrific screen tearing caused by the previous update? As someone who's highly sensitive to it the game is borderline unplayable in its current state.
Apparently both Xbox series X & S are getting a price increase in Sweden are they just rolling out price increases to different countries gradually 🤷♂️
Not sure what I would rate it.
The base game felt a bit too much like a Witcher clone over an Assassins Creed one. The dungeon-delving segments felt too flat, no enough vertical movement or parkour. Most of the time you literally had to just find the stairs or crawl through a “vent”. Fun game but not what I necessarily wanted from AC.
Wrath of the Druids… felt like more of the base game. It did flesh up a bit more the high profile target hunts, and had a fun story, and the gameplay remained fun, but didn’t have the highlights that Siege of Paris brought (I don’t remember the release order of these since I played both post release.)
Siege of Paris had a bit of a return to form which I really enjoyed. Clue hunting , alternate infiltration paths and unique assassinations, that was fun.
Odyssey Crossover was basically fan-service…. But man I am a sucker for it and loved every minute. I got to go play the Odyssey side of this crossover sooner or later….
I have yet to play Dawn of Ragnarok so can’t talk, but I did buy it so it’s on my backlog.
Overall, I would recommend the game to anyone that is a fan of both, Assassins Creed AND the Witcher. Anyone that dislikes one or the other won’t enjoy this game much, and anyone nostalgic for the pre-Origins days will just find this more upsetting than Origins or Odyssey.
@Would_you_kindly What is the point of your comment in this article? Trying to stir the pot as usual?
@cburg it's Xbox related news how is it 'stirring the pot' idve commented on the article addressing what I mentioned except pure Xbox hasn't done one perhaps they just haven't seen this news & after seeing my comment they could look into it & do an article.
How to rate it? The first 20 or so hours were mostly great, if a little slow, but deduct a point for every 5-10 hours it outlasted it's mechanics and wasted our time before tapping out.
Final score: -5 / 10.... where's that option? /s
