Like in the title says is it worth it? Cause i have the money to buy a console. But for some reason i'm having second thoughts. So that's why i'm asking this question to people who actually have the console if it is.

The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

I'm currently playing Faith The Unholy Trinity, Dead Space( remake), Crow Country and Steel Rising.

I'd say it absolutely is but it's kind of tough to recommend to somebody else without knowing what kind of games you're looking for.

Having owned an XB1 from day one, I should say "yes" without second thought, but...
As others mention, it's really down to game exclusives, what your friends have (if you're looking to play MP with them) and even quality of visuals. I can't believe I'm saying it, but having watched 'versus' videos for PS4 and Xb1 for games, there are some definite noticeable differences on certain games. Personally I am not a FPS-chaser, so this doesn't bother me enough to switch consoles. I like the Xbox brand, console, controller and games so I am happy with my choice.

It really depends on what your looking for!
For me the Xbox One as what I need in terms of multiplayer, games I enjoy playing and the controller :love:
I will purchase a Wii U soon because I want to play their games because they are fun MK8, Splatoon, Yoshi, DK and also for Zelda!!! 8)
As for the PS4 I had a PS2 but wasn't interested on getting a PS3 so I don't think I'll get one maybe if I win the lottery!

Fan of Tomb Raider / Halo / Dead Rising / Lost Planet / Titanfall
Always looking for a challenging game!! 8)
Currently playing: How To Survive, Titanfall, Forza Horizon 2, Child of Light
Waiting to play: Dying Light, Far Cry 4, Ori <3, Beyond Eyes

Yup, I'm in agreement with the crowd. We can't answer without knowing anything about the type of games you like playing.

In general? Sure, the Xbox One is worth the money in my opinion.

Just kidding. Imma follow the herd and suggest you look at the games you like, look at whats coming out, and base your decision on that. Also consider what your mates have, multiplayer games with friends are always better than with randoms.

To answer the question of everyone here i'm looking for multiplayer games to play with friends and others. I guess after looking at all the games coming to the system and have been released. Then i guess it is worth it thank's everyone for the responses.

A late reply I know but I recently got a XB1 and trying to decide between a PS4 and XB1. It seemed like a better value (1TB vs 500 GB for the same price in addition to all the free games I got with it compared to just Batman A.K. for the PS4). I also feel that the XB1 has an exciting future and streaming through Windows 10 anywhere in the house will be a very appreciated feature in the future when the T.V. is in use. Previously, I had a Wii U and a PS3 and I am glad that I made the jump to an XB1.

@Ryno,

great choice for going with the xbox one. Two of my favourite xbox one features over the ps4 are
1. EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE SUPPORT
2. EA ACCESS (you get lots of EA games from sports, to racing and action games ) for as little as $30 a year. well worth it alone.

@Emanouel:
Seriously, being able to plug in an external harddrive is such a great feature. I mean, it's annoying that my two consoles that cost me a combined $800 can only carry about 8-12 games max on their 500GB harddrives, but, at least MS gives you a good option for extra storage. I've heard it's easy enough to put a new one in the PS4 but I hate opening consoles to do so, just makes me uncomfortable. I really hope a future PS4 update allows this feature but sadly if it was going to happen it probably would have by now.

@Tasuki: No way man! Having my VC games "tied to the console" is enough reason to keep it. Plus, I will want to play Zelda Wii U whenever that comes out. It's a good console to play with my two sons too, once they are old enough to play video games.

@Emanouel: It seems like external hard drive support (I have one on my Wii U) is a no-brainer so I am surprised Sony still doesn't offer it. I will probably give EA access a try when once the new Madden is available. It really does seems like a pretty good deal. Another nice thing I have found out is that I can earn some Xbox credit by using Bing. It's not a ton, but it is something.

@Gamer83,
Honestly i don't see sony releasing external HDD support in the future. They have made comments that its not needed now. Then again never say never. 500GB is more then enough for the internal HDD as i just use it for apps and the OS. I love the fact that you can have 2x 8TB External HDDS hooked up as once.

@Ryno,
I've been a member of EA Access ever since it arrived, its been a great service.I can't wait till EA announces Triple Play Baseball Reboot in the fall. Another cool feature of ea access is the ability to try new games a week in advance for unto 10 hours of game play.

@Emanouel:

Yeah, as somebody who's mostly a PlayStation guy I find Sony's stance disappointing, but that just means I move more towards something else if need be. The Wii U was providing nothing I wanted from a gaming standpoint so last summer I sold it for money to get an Xbox One since MS has gotten its sh*t together since the personnel changes. If Sony wants to do dumb things rather than simple things I have no problem putting more money into the Xbox One if it provides a better experience. It's just annoying that it takes a kick in the pants sometimes for these companies to do things rather than just trying to keep people happy from the get go.

I own a PS4 and Wii U for right now, with plans on purchasing an X-Box One this february for a few exclusives (Zoo Tycoon, Fantasia Music Evolved, Fable Legends and Dead Rising 3). In all honesty, all of the systems look to be fun and great, so asking if it's worth it is just one simple thought: If I buy it and get a lot of play action, and in 10 or more years will I play it again? If you replay any system over and over for years or decades down the line, it was a great investment. I still own my Atari 2600 for a few games, the NES, the Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Super NES, Gamecube, PS2, PS3 and even the Sega 32X for the fact that I liked some of the games on them, and don't want to lose them. As I've found out with a few consoles and games, when you get rid of them...for some odd reason, all of a sudden you want to replay them again, and then you can't. I love the current systems, and I can't wait to add the XONE to my collection too.

Let me know about some of the great things the XONE can do!

Ah, that sucks that it didn't work right away. Oh well, at least you're in the club now! Welcome!
